I saw that episode last night.


He did seem like the more mature of the two when it came to the children but then again the footage they showed after they broke up of him and his friend "cruising" around and picking up more teenage girls did not paint him as the mature type.

I fear for the children - this girl does not have the life experience or the maturity to handle one child much less two. She is just lucky she has her mother to help her.

It's a bad situation all around when children have children. I think if they had more programs in high school where teen mothers came and spoke about how their lives have changed and what it entailed then some of those girls (and boys) may have second thoughts about sex and being more responsible about it. I still remember several girls getting pregnant in my high school and that was a huge reason that I waited and not be pressured into anything. I'm sure if they also had some teen fathers speak it would make the boys think a little harder on the subject too.

The look on her friends faces when they were visiting her with the babies and they saw what she was going through - they had this "so glad it's not me" look on their faces. Hopefully that influenced them about those kind of decisions and what the consequences could be.

I dont fault Corey. He stepped up. If Robbie accpeted Leah and the girls, she would have dumped Corey in a heart beat. She had a man who was willing to step up and do what he had to do. The moment I saw that Robbie guy, I knew he wasnt the type to accept those babies. Leah had a rude awakening.

same here. I felt so bad for Corey that he was stepping up and she was just using him and then trying to make him feel bad about it. I really hope that she wakes up and lets him have a big parts of those little girls' lives.

maybe I am being too judgmental but I just noticed as she was driving the car seat bouncing back and forth, were they even buckled in properly?

I noticed that too!! But, for a split second I swear I saw someone's hand on the car seat. So maybe there was someone sitting in the middle back there - a camera person maybe? I don't know who, but I know I saw a hand


Corey will make a great husband someday. Those girls are very lucky to have a dad like him, hopefully Leah doesnt try to keep them away. (I know she said she wouldn't, but will she feel the same when he gets in a new serious relationship)

OMG. The guy is this latest episode (where the gilr had twins) seems to be a way better parent and much more mature than the girl. He is all about working hard and being a family man, and all she wants to do is hang out with her friends. Guess what - you give that up when you have kids as a teenager.

well to be fair, she IS a teenager and no matter HOW many times people tell them "raising kids is hard" They never want to believe it, and they still want to live their teenage lifestyle. some of them just take longer to realize that they can't do that anymore.

and she's all upset b/c he is out with a girl, she broke it off with him b/c she thought that there was something between her and her ex, but after he saw the twins he wasn't seen or heard from again....so now, since that did not work the way she planned, she was Corey back.

omg i noticed that too!!! i didn't think carseats moved PERIOD once you had them fastened in there properly!


and with this situation i can't totally fault the girl, because she had only been dating the guy a month, so it was obvious he was the rebound guy. and altho i can understand she "missed" her BC shot one month, they should have taken extra precautions when they decided to sleep together.

i did feel bad tho, he did seem like he was really trying hard for everything. i didn't catch how old he was, but he looked older. he's older than her, right? so obviously he's had a LITTLE bit of time to mature more than she has. he knew he had to step up.

and they BOTH said if it weren't for the kids, they wouldn't have still been together. it was just a bad situation all around, tbh.

I've said it once before on this thread and I'll say it again......

CAN WE PLEASE TEACH OUR CHILDREN THE "SCIENCE" BEHIND HOW BIRTH CONTROL WORKS????? Yes, bioth for guys and gals.

Seriously, how does teaching the "how" promote/praise teens having sex. It gives them the understanding of how to prevent pregnancy because they are doing it anyway. Abstince only education has failed.

EVERY SINGLE TEEN on this show has gotten pregnant because they FAILED to understand how to prevent getting pregnant and how whatever form of BC they were on worked.......let's not even talk about the fact that a teen is on BC in the first place, but since they are TEACH THEM HOW IT WORKS.

This is twice now that I have heard the "well I didn't think that if I missed one [pill/shot/etc] it would happen."

Chances are, aside form period regulation, if a teen is on BC then they ARE having sex because they feel "protected," but do they truly understand how it works.....I mean even on the DIS there are women amazed that they can skip their placebo pills and start a new pack, therefore avoiding a period for a month.

Oh well, I'm a radical, because I have already explained some difficult topics to my 2.5 year old. So far we are up to "your body is private/nobody should touch it except when they are wiping poo poo from your tushie" but still how does avoiding it help anyone. Oh, and my daughter also says she has a boyfriend. Tonight, I asked her what she does with her boyfriend and she replied "I give hima high five. I hug him. I kiss him." Yeah, gonna have to be thinking how to talk with her about that soonish (of course her "love" is at a two year old level).

I just finished watching the rerun of the twins segment. SHe was like, Oh how could Corey start dating again we just broke up. Um, but at dinner with her friends and Robbie, and then having him over to see the twins, she was trying to get back with him.

Then how can she get her nails done and gas in the car that Corey bought for her? she doesn't have a job. Seriously, if I were Corey and saw this segment I would take the car back, let her find some guy with a car who wants to haul her greedy butt and twins, not likely to happen.


And then the car seat and her hauling butt with the car when she saw the 2 girls Corey had with him.
