Now that I know I can get the connecting cabins that I need (hopefully they will be available), do you think that a 16 & 17 YO who have never cruised and never been any where in the world accept a couple of trips to WDW with me, their fabulous aunt  and once time to the Smokies will have a good time? I won't be able to give them much for excursions, but think that this might be a great trip for them away from home. Do most teens enjoy the teen club, or will it seem babyish to them? Thanks!

My son was 16 when he first cruised on Disney. He absolutely LOVED it! Even though they may not hang out in the teen club, the teens bond and they do things together all day and night.

Now, he's 21 and a Marine in Iraq and has been talking up a storm to his superiors about Disney cruises. He is supposed to be home on leave for our Mardi Gras cruise at the end of February and is coming with us.

I'd pick out one great excursion for them to do . . . like snorkeling and I think they would be happy with that.

I am hoping the same thing you are. I have two DDs ages 13 and 17. I am hoping they both find some good (well behaved teens I don't have to worry about ;) ) friends on board and have a great time without being bored.

My whole family went on a cruise in October. My 16 year old grandson, who is not very outgoing, enjoyed the teen club. In fact on the way home he offered to get a job to help pay his way if we could go again before he turns 18. I 'm sure they will enjoy it.
