Is this worth missing if I have the chance to go to DLR in September instead of the half planned trip to DLRP in June?

Stupidly, we sent off the form to disney to get our shareholders card, thinking that we would be going in June, but since we have 20 shares, we haven't lost out on 30 euros.

I'm presuming all the new rides can wait until a future trip but I thought I'd rather take the opportunity to go to California before I start university since DLRP is more affordable for me to visit once I've started uni.

As much as I love DLP if the time is right to go on a trip to Disneyland in Anaheim then I'd go for this :)

I think you have already convinced yourself of the same, since as you say a quick trip to DLP is much easier :thumbsup2

Thanks, just the reassurance I needed :goodvibes :thumbsup2

I agree ~ DLRP is so much cheaper and easier to get to than California, and it will still be there waiting for you whereas you may not get the chance to go to California again for some time. However lovely the 15th decorations are on DLRP's Castle, if I had the choice California would win hands down every time!

Happy planning! :wizard:

Well, my sister has solved it, its too expensive for us to go to DLR at the mo. She even said it was too expensive for us to stay in the New York at DLP :scared1: .

One thing I have seen and can't quite believe was an advert for DLP on the ratatouille DVD that said the 15th ended in march, but the brochure says a date way after that (can't remember exactly) so am I even going to get to see them at all!?!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear your plans haven't worked out. The 15th Celebrations were originally going to end March 2008 but were so successful they have been extended for a further year. :thumbsup2

Perhaps you could still manage a trip to DLRP if you stay in one of the cheaper hotels??

Oh, I am still going to DLRP, my sister just told me to book SL rather than HNY so they wouldn't have to shell out another £100ish. DLR is far too expensive for her to afford as for the price of just the airfare is the same price to go to DLP.

She wants to go there as much as I do, just shes a graduating student who is slightly broke.
