Ok, no idea how I got this rate this evening...
I was checking a ton of cites and kept clicking for "check rate". I had found that DH was coming up at $178.50 at Expedia, and $179 at Travelosicity.... then I clicked someplace else and got a $159 a night for the days I wanted...

And I did NOT book it!

But I did email the web page to myself and have ckecked it a few min ago and it was still at $159... but I can't duplicat this any other time I try. It was not a standard room, which was $185 a night, but a View room... so would this be good?

So did I really mess up?

And if so how can I talk DH into this... We are going for out DD grad on May 12 from USC, and have 2 nights, 1 1/2 days we can spend at the park. I think it would be much easier to do both parks if we were on site. But I have read parking is extra? And some other places offer free breakfast.

help.....

Good find! Looks like Travelocity messed up or something since the view room is cheaper than the standard room. We are going to the Disneyland Hotel in June on DVC points. I am really looking forward to it!

I think they messed up also! 'Cause when I called and was talking to them the lady insisted that there was NO WAY that I had found a cheaper rate online...and I was looking at it!!!

I just went back a few seconds ago, as I was typing this... and the rate is still there AS LONG as the link I posted is followed and NOT changed!
So if any one needs only 2 nights for that price they should try it!

And I am guessing a View room is better, because? Don't all the rooms have some type of View, even if it is the freeway, or city? I have seen the hotel, and I didn't think that it had any interior rooms...
Or do they really mean a View worth looking at?

Now it would be really, really nice if when we checked in late that night they only had Con. level let and had to upgrade us for free.... hahahah! It looks like it will be at least 9;30 or as late as midnight before we check in.

I was able to get it to come up for those dates, without the link. I wish I was able to get that rate for my dates, but it shows sold out. Oh well. I'm happy with the CCI.

OMG, I am soooo in love with you right now! We are now staying one night at the DLH (this will be my grandparent's first trip to DL EVER!!). I am soooo excited about this, I called the DLH and the best AP rate I could get was $275 a night. OUCH!!!!

Thanks again for sharing this!!!

So you got it also? If so I am so glad! Will you be there over May 9-11 also? We are flying in from S.Carolina... no idea when we will get in. I am sooooooooooooo excited about this! My DS, 14 has never been to DL that he remembrers, and even with a ton of WDW trips we have never stayed on site at a Disney park!!!

When I had called DLH the best rate I could get was a Military discount of about $190-$230 for a standard room... they offered us Con Level for a "discount' of $398 a night... On a militayr retired budget? I think NOT.

Did you have to go the same nights we did? And did you also get the View room? Congrats! So glad someone else got in on this!

ido,
because we had originally booked at the Lemon Tree (a gorgeous, perfect hotel) and they take a non-refundable deposit, we decided to do one night at the DLH. We will be at the DLH May 11th and then move over to the Lemon Tree until the 14th. I am so excited!! My grandparents have always wanted to go to DL but are unable to drive that far. My aunt goes to DL all the time and never offered to take them (grumble grumble) so I volunteered and I think it will be so extraordinary to see it through their eyes. I think it will be that much better with at least ONE night at the DLH.
