Sorry for the delay!!! The dreaded Disney virus came home with us! Everyone is coming down with colds. I guess that's what we get for running on no sleep for 4 days!!! LOL! It was worth it!

I've got to tell you that after I found this trip report and read your prior 2 trip reports I got the brilliant idea to check the park & ride rates at the airport hotels for my January trip with just DS for his 7th birthday. I did stay at one of them last December for a short 3 night trip but this time I'm going for 5 nights so parking is very expensive. A friend (who went with me last Dec and is going with me in Nov) offered to pick us up at the airport in January. So I booked a room only ($160 cheaper than 6 night park & fly) for us instead. My DS will be SO excited! He wanted to get room service on his birthday trip (saw it on some TV show) but we are staying at Pop. Now we can get room service at the airport Hyatt and maybe we can fly stand by on the 6:50am flight and arrive in MCO 3 hours ealier.

AND....I also booked at dinner at California Grill for the 2 of us. He loved the CR last Dec so he will really love CG-we've never been before. He's my good eater so I know it will be a very special experience.

Loved the pics of the room! We haven't stayed there since 2004, so it was nice to see the new rooms!

We got back on Wednesday and I'm sick too!! But I'm sure I caught it from DS4 - he was sick before we even left! Maybe you caught it from him!! So sorry if you did!

We were ready to go!!! The rain wasn't going to stop us! Food & Wine Fest, here we come!

We were at AK & MGM on the 5th and found the rain to be quite miserable - especially in the morning! The kids had fun, but I think the rain "dampened" our spirits a little. Luckily we only saw one shower after Friday.

Conner is the keeper of the pins, but Brenna is the master pin trader. She's cashing in on her last year of being able to trade with CM's wearing a green lanyard. They're on to her, though, and several asked her how old she is. After a slight pin altercation between those two, which I won't describe in gory detail here, we were ready to go!

Welcome home! Of course, I'm sure you'd rather still be at WDW. Eric & I are down to 56 days (according to his handy dandy countdown). I can hardly wait, especially since it's turned quite chilly here in Indiana!

Can't wait to hear about all of your adventures! Sorry you couldn't get any information about the Contemporary DVC rumors. I keep hoping to get a notice in the mail about adding on points...
