........................................ ............ ......

just letting you know continuing prayers  hoping tommorow brings you more details and good news

Argh. How annoying. I'm sorry.

Stick around with us tonight, C.Ann...the DIS board will keep you occupied. :) Continued prayers and best wishes to you.

I am sorry that they didn't have anything for you today.:guilty: I also agree with you 100% don't be a passive patient, my dad wasn't and we were right there with him asking question's. I feel him and us beign that way is what gave him the last 4 year's of his life with us. I hope though for you and your family that it isn't anything serious. You will stay in my thought's and prayer's.

CAnn., this is my first post on your thread, but I just wanted to let you know that I've been praying for you since I first read it.

CAnn-still keeping you in my prayers. Stay strong!

Ok so we'll wait with you until tomorrow. Hey no news is good news. Still praying for you and hoping for the best.

Geez, I was on pins and needles waiting for an update, I can imagine how YOU felt. :(

Sounds like you are being really proactive though....no one is a better advocate for your healthcare than you. Keeping my spirits lifted for you. Keep us posted. :grouphug:

Sorry you didn't hear anything today C.Ann . I agree, it is irritating as heck waiting for results while your mind runs wild and your life is on hold. I know they say 'patience is man's greatest virtue', but it's truly difficult when it concerns your health. It's a blessing you have a loving supportive family and your daughter is there to keep you company.

I'm still praying for a miracle for you...that maybe it's something controllable such as thyroid problems. I suffered for some time before I was finally diagnosed with hypothyroid, that thankfully is under control. I have a good friend who was very ill with sleeplessness, weight loss, depression, fatigue and weakness, all simply from thyroid. My aunt also suffered with health problems for yrs as she was afraid to go to the dr. Her family found her unconscious one day and she was taken to ICU where she remained comatose for 3 wks. Low and behold docotrs discovered it was an imbalanced thyroid that had wreaked havoc with her entire body including her heart, almost causing death. She came out of it a new woman and there is no holding her back at 65yo! Sharing this with you to remind you there is always hope sweetie and keeping my fingers crossed you'll be one of the lucky ones with a diagnoses that is easily managable.

Sending continued ((hugs)) and prayers and remember, we're hanging in there with you!

Okay! I'll take that.. :rotfl:

To pass the time today, DD and I sat down and made a looooong list of things that would be "acceptable" - and those that wouldn't be (and why).. It was the most ridiculous looking list - and the reasons for and against were hysterical - we were laughing so hard - but hey - whatever works, right? ;)

Yep, whatever medicine it takes to feed your spirit!! :thumbsup2

As fiesty as you are girl, truthfully, I can't imagine any ailment having the nerve to try attacking you! :rotfl2:

As I wrote you privately (although in more detail), I haven't read this before today, and I'm utterly shocked that a doc would give you those choices (with totally different tests and very expansive tests needed to even see what is going on for each of the types she mentioned) without knowing of what she speaks. So many symptons play a part in so many things, that for her to guess 3 totally different types of cancers, and to make a patient wait and worry so long..shame on her!
As you know, I wish you the best of of course none of these choices. Whatever is going on, I have no doubt, a fighter like you will fight to the best of your ability. Take care and prayers are with you.

Got your PM

Looking to hear some good news today!:thumbsup2

Got your PM - and now you know the part of the story that doesn't make the doctor out to be the "bad guy" here.. She's a victim of insurance company policies (as we all are) and has the misfortune of having to deal with a stupid, stubborn patient to boot.. I blew it - she didn't - and that's the end of that.. (Insert someone kicking me in the "behind" here..)

I appreciate your good wishes and prayers - and yes, I will fight whatever I have to fight.. How can I not? Who the heck is going to take care of my DD if I don't? LOL (Of course I did tell her - "Times up! It's my turn now, so get ready for me to torture the heck out of you..":goodvibes )
It's going to be fine - no matter the outcome.. Look down at my signature:
"Life ain't always beautiful...but it's a beautiful ride..." ;)

Any possibility that the thyroid is involved? It sounds like it. But, you might want to give your doctor the benefit of the doubt and just wait for the results to come back.
No matter what happens, a positive attitude is always the answer.
Good luck.

A positive attitude C. Ann!! It works wonders and it sounds like you have it. Keep up the good spirits. Whatever it turns out to be, you will deal with it because you have to.

My DSis was diag. with breast cancer in Aug 2006 it was a rough road for the 1st few months, but as I type this, she is in Hawaii with her DH, her DD9 and our DM. A year ago we couldn't imagine she would be taking a 2 wk trip to Hawaii. She is doing amazing and is still on chemo until December. You do what you have to do.

Just wanting to say I am thinking of you and hope you are feeling OK today:hug:
