Just try to remember cancer is not an automatic death sentence. There are many people who are survivors to attest to that fact. Try and focus on the positive for now.

Oh C.Ann, I am so sorry you are going through this. I wish I could get in my car and come give you a big {{hug}} and offer my shoulder to cry on! No one wants to hear they may have the 'C' word.

Not sure what symptoms you have where dr would automatically assume cancer, but, please try to not think the worse until you're sure what you're dealing with. The medical field has progress leaps and bounds and there is much hope to be had even with such a serious diagnoses.

It's understandable to be in shock, scared and cry, but you have been so strong for everyone else, now please try to hang in there and be strong for you. It's wonderful your DD can be with you and you know that your Dis friends are always here for you, as our hearts and prayers are with you sweetie. Sending prayers that God will grant you strength and hope through this difficult time and your all testing brings better news . Godspeed ^i^

Hi!
Even though I'm from the teen board,I wanted to come and post to let you know you are in my prayers.


I'm 14 and right now I'm going through chemotherapy for a bone cancer.
And I wanted to let you know that you are NOT alone.
Cancer is NOT a death sentence anymore.

I'm going to hope and pray it's not cancer because I can tell you first hand,chemotherapy is the absolute worst.
