150 Points for Rent @ $9.00 point

I have 150 points in my holding account that I want to rent for $9.00 per point. I greatly prefer to rent all 150 points to one person. I originally had reservations at Disney that I had to cancel one week berfore I was to go. Thus the restrictions are as follows:

1. I have to make the reservation for you using my 150 points as they are not transferable. I can arrange a 3-way phone call with DVC so you hear the conversation.

2. The reservations have to be made within 60 days of travel. For example, today is 2-18-04 and the reservations can only be from 2-19-04 until 4-18-04.

3. The expiration date is July 31, 2004. Thus, if you wanted to travel in July, you would have to wait until May to make the reservations.

4. My price is $9.00 per point ($1350 for all 150 points)

My home base is Wilderness Lodge and use year is August. I have been a DVC member for 3 years. Send me a PM with your e-mail and phone number if you are interested.

To answer a DVC member question:

These points can be used at any DVC resort (WL, BW, OKW, BCV, VB, HH) or anywhere that accepts DVC points. However, I want to sell all 150 points in one transaction.

They just have a few restrictions as compared to regular points because they are in my holding account and cannot be be banked or borrowed. This is because I cancelled a confirmend DVC reservation I had within 30 days of travel. Thus they have to be used before July 31, 2004 and you only get a 60 day window to make your reservation.

That is why I am discounting the points at $9.00 per point.

I can actually accomidate requests to rent more points and take them from my other account.

However, these 150 points for sale are in a holding account that expires on July 31, 2004 and I was not planning on visiting DVC before then, that is why they are for sale.

Of course, if you need a few more points, I will just take them out of my regular allotment.

Send me a PM with the dates, location, and room type you want. Please try to keep it close to 150-200 points as the more points I sell, the less I have to use!

To answer several e-mails at once, here I go.

These points can not be transferred as they are in my holding account and have to be used for a new reservation before Ju8ly 31 or they expire.

In addition, I only have a 60 day window to make reservations. Thus, if you want to book a July vacation, I cannot make reservations until May. If you want to travel in February or March or April, then I can make these reservations.

Please realize that this is DVC rules as the points are in holding because I cancelled my own reservations within 30 days of travel.

Also, I greatly prefer to sell all 150 of these points to a current DVC member as they already know the DVC rules and are familiar to points and can call DVC to check room availability before they contact me.

I am happy to work with newbies and non-DVC members, but I am not a travel agent. I have until July 31 to use the points, sell the points or I will loose them. Unfortunatley I cannot trransfer them.

As of 2-20-03 these 150 points are still available.

I have answered several e-mails and checked DVC availability in the next 60 days and it appears to be limited to OKW as the other resorts are sold out.

I have stayed at OKW even though my home is VWL and I was very impressed with the large size of the rooms at OKW as compared to VWL.

I just checked availability for March 14-25 range and DisneyWorld is all sold out. They stated they have availability after March 25th.

In addition, I just found out that these "Points Can Be Transferred" to a DVC member.

The points have the above restrictions (must be used before July 31, 2004 and can only be used to book a DVC resort within 60 days of travel).

I hope that that clears up things.

You mentioned that you would rent a few more points from your other holdings, is 196 ok and would that be at $9.00 for all 196?
