15 years ago today

Today is the 15th year anniversary of my high schools shooting. I was a freshman at the time and these two 15 year old kids brought guns to school. They killed one administrator point blank in the head and shot to others who thankfully are alive today. I remember thinking, is this what it is like in high school? Needless to say I did not want to go back but had to. To this day I can still hear the gun shots and the craziness that followed that day.

I checked our local newspaper website today and there was nothing on it which suprised me but then again there are other news stories taking precedence right now. The world is a crazy, scary place.

I lived and was in high school in Florida and remember that day. I was in Ft. Lauderdale but it rippled through the entire state. Sorry you have to have that memory.
