We have just been told by our car hire company that Florida law is changing from April 2004 so we are not allowed to hire a 15 seater minivan any more. There has been a lot of problems with them tipping over so they have now been banned.

This means we have to down grade and get a 12 seater. I am concerned that this will not be big enough for our luggage. How much would it be roughly to get a taxi from Orlando International airport to Rolling Hills ?. There are 12 of us going and we will have at least 1 suitcase each going - coming back who knows!!!!:Pinkbounc

Which Rolling Hills location are you staying at? There are about 50 of them. Minimum cab fare to the least expensive would be $50 or so, plus tip (in the US it's customary to tip livery drivers minimum 10% plus $1-2 per bag).

If you are out in Davenport, probably closer to $100. At that point it's probably less expensive to use a car service like Tiffany that has a van.

From MCO to the location you are sayin at, it will be around $50+ tip one way for cab fare.

From what I have see, the 12 passenger vans sometimes have more luggage room than the 15 passenger vans. The reason being, the last row of seats in the 15 passenger van is where the luggage space is on the 12 passenger van. But of course, it all depends on the make and model of the van, and exact seating configuration. I'd recommend calling the company and asking them about the luggage space in the 12 pax van.
