I think maintenance will be 'stepped up' at all WDW parks around the world.
Maybe some rides will be shut down once a month for a few hours (as in 5 pm to 4 am EST) for maintenance and rail checks.
If rides which create friction on wires or rails continue to run for 15 hours a day - they will need maintenace.
Think of a baby swing moving back and forth for 15 hours, 7 days a week.
Eventually the bearings will start to wear down.
Or a pool motor running 15 hours, 7 days a week. It would need a new filter change, diatematious earth refill, backwash, chlorine added, etc.
The ride at Disney Parks need some tender loving care by mechanics once in a while.
So if a ride says closed for a few days for maintenance - do not pout, think of your safety
