OK, so I'm turing 14 in july, and i have no idea what to do for a party. Here's what my friends did: sleepover, bowling, lazer tag, and a lake party. I don't want to have to plan a lot. I was thinking about doing something kinda simple. Like just going somewhere. But, i don't want to do something that everyone does like the movies. any ideas? thanks..

For my 14th birthday, I had a sleepover.
My second choice was going with friends to get out nails done and see a movie

Have a girl's night out. Go to the melting pot, kani house or somewhere nice for dinner and have a sleepover at home. You can go swimming, then go home dry off and lay around in your room with snacks and blankets to chit chat and watch movies. Other ideas would be to go get your nails done, or a cheaper suggestion is go buy lots of nailpolish and do each others nails. I always have thought this one was fun: If you have an even number of girls at your sleepover, team up into twos and do each others hair + makeup (you can do cute makeovers themed makeovers or make them look horrible for fun!) and then take pictures of each other.

Sometimes the best way to laugh is to go rent a funny movie and watch it, or (even funnier) go rent a dumb sappy or kiddy (NOT disney :) ) movie and make fun of it together haha! Board games are fun at sleepovers. REALLY fun.

REMEMBER! Not all girls will be satisfied with everything you do at your party. There might be one girl who hates makeup or one who thinks board games are boring or isn't in the mood for a movie, but you can't satisfy everyone! If that happens, call your friends and let them tell you activities THEY like that are OK with you and let everyone vote on a movie to watch. That way everyone gets what they want. It seems to stressful but a sleepover doesnt take much planning in the end and its worth the fun.

So what if someone else had a sleepover party? That doesnt mean your friends won't want to go to another one! PS- Yours might be even better than your friends!!!
And I hope your not inviting two feuding friends or anything!!!!

Get some viscrene, baby soap and a hose. Some cheap water guns from like dollar general are good too, plus if you have water baloons and only give them to certain people it's pretty funny.

Agree w/ the outside backyard thing. The b-day party I'm having tomorrow is a bonfire in my yard. Do that, add water guns if u want. Just do something that gets your friends together so you can hang out with them all.

Im in the same predicment. I turn 14 in September. The time right when school starts. uhhhh! I have an inground pool but I dont know if it will be warm still by then. I am picky when it comes to how warm water is. But the point is, I do not know what my choices are? 14 is one of the hardest years to do a birthday party that everyone will enjoy.
TTY when the candles burn out,

If you have some sort of at home party, I just celebrated my 13th and we did blind make overs-Huge hit! Also, theres this game where everyone gets covered in shaving cream and (Depending on your party size) you can give everyone a water gun, or have a few people not shaving cream covered only have water guns. Then you shoot the water guns at everyone. The person with the most shaving cream on them at the end of the game wins.

Hope I sparked some Ideas :thumbsup2

You could have a video game party. Singstar, American idol, and Guitar hero will keep you entertained for hours lol. Or a costume party. Halloween is always a good inspiration :P

Or, if you and your friends are like mine, you could do a classic disney animated movies marathon and have everyone com ein costume as their favorite disney princess/prince.

:bday:

1.) you could always go to the movies... if there's not anything good in the movie theater, you could always rent (or buy) a movie and bring your friends to your house
2.) (what I do every year) since my house is so messy, I bring a few friends to a hotel for an overnight pool and slumber party

The birthday party i had (that wasn't the most planning) was we went to a salon place got our hair done did some kareoke and then got pics taken at a picture place it was alot of fun

u could have a lock-in some where amazing and u could do any thing and like u always do at sleepovers u CANNOT go to sleep!!:dance3::woohoo::laughing:

The movies are a good idea! The only problem would be picking something that everyone can see and will somewhat enjoy. :thumbsup2

If all of your party guests are females, you could have a tea party or go somewhere where they serve a nice afternoon tea. :)

Lazertag is a really good option for both guys and girls. It's a lot of fun but you will be burning tons of calories so bring snacks or get something to eat afterwards.

Or you could do a picnic in the park, to make it pretty simple. :rolleyes1

Make a movie with your friends or rent old movie and watch them:happytv:. Maybe even do a "photoshoot" with your friends. Just have a good time.
