I'm trying to help a friend out who has a 14 y.o. daughter with mental disabilities. The daughter does not really enjoy the parks. The family has gone before and used the special no wait in line arrangement that WDW offers. Still, this teen does not like costumes, rides, let alone waits.
My friend wonders about activities centers near by on or off the property for her daughter. She envisions a daytime "camp"/daycare while her other children, her husband and she do the parks.
She had thought about leaving her daughter here with someone, but she knows her daughter would prefer to be near family and be a part of some family time.
Any suggestions? Any activity centers at any hotels in the day? Any such ideas on grounds.
Thanks.
