My niece (4.5yrs) who is lactose intollerant and I went to 12 TS meals. I did plan on taking pictures of the food, but I think I only remembered twice.

Donald's Breakfast-good buffet and characters

Crystal Palace-good buffet and characters. Annoying children/adults that kept trying to get into our photos.

Sci-Fi Dine In - great server. Food was okay.

1900 Park Fare (breakfast and dinner) - good buffet and characters. Took a while for them to arrive at our table as it is a large room.

CRT (breakfast) - good food and characters.

Coral Reef - server was not friendly and service was bad. The restaurant was nice and the food was good. It's too bad our server was so bad that it spoiled our dinner. We wouldn't recommend this restaurant as the service was that bad-no refills, slow, mixed up orders, argued with me about what I ordered, refused to get the chef for my niece.

Chef Mickey's (breakfast) - good food and characters.

Kona Cafe - took a while to be seated but the food and service was good.

The Wave - the service was fast compared to the other TS meals. The food was great (ordered the Filet). Wasn't that impressed with the dessert selection I picked.

Hollywood and Vine - least favorite buffet. But we used it for the Fantasmic Pkg. so it was worth not waiting for seats at Fantasmic. We did have to wait outside in the heat for 15 min. before our table was ready.

We skipped our ADR for Garden Grill as my niece was so tired so I let her sleep in. I tried to make a later reservation but nothing was available.

The chefs at the restaurants came to the table (with the exception of the Coral Reef) and said what they could make for my niece. I did ask at Chef Mickey's if she could have pancakes instead of waffles (she had already eaten many waffles during our trip) and the chef said no problem-he even made them in the shape of Mickey Heads.

We found that there was too much food. With the heat we didn't need all that much food. We also did a lot of sleeping in as we are 3 hours behind WDW time. I was able to use our snack credits to purchase a box of the Divvies Chocolate Chip Cookies for my niece as we don't have them up here. On our last night I went to tables looking for guest who didn't have the dining plan and asked them what drinks I could get for them. I found a family and gave them a lot of bottled water. I still had water left in the fridge the next morning and had to leave it for mousekeeping as we were flying home.

Some of the CS place we ate at:

Cosmic Ray's - 1/2 rotissery chicken with fries and green beans. We shared this meal twice-the first time with the ribs. Just too much food for us.

Pop Food Court - dairy free waffles and pizza. My niece loved the pizza. I had the parmessan chicken and salad, chocolate chip waffles and cheese pizza. The food was good. But I was kind of sick of eating by the end.

Sunshine Seasons - 1/2 chicken with cucumber (special for my niece) and carrots.

Electric Umberella - kosher chicken tenders and french fries. My niece liked the chicken tenders-I couldn't eat them.

American Pavillion - chicken tenders and french fries. These were good chicken tenders but still couldn't eat all 5 pieces.

Flame Tree - 1/2 chicken and french fries with corn bread muffin. The second time 1/2 chicken and grapes with corn bread muffin. Was told the second time I couldn't trade the beans for french fries on the dining plan. They let me the first time! We both liked the chicken here.

TL - My niece had a dairy free hotdog with bun with french fries and grapes. She enjoyed having a hotdog as she hasn't had one in quite a long time.

Thank you so much for your reviews! Especially the Tusker House one as that is where we will be taking our nieces ;)

hubby and I went to Crystal Palace for dinner two weeks ago and yup some little people get so excited they wanted to be in our pictures too......hahaha...h
SOunds like some good places you went to

We ate at Tusker House a second time for lunch. The chef brought out some peanut butter and jam with bread (so it hadn't touched the bread with dairy) and also some cucumber. She ended up eating a peanut butter and banana sandwich and then ate the cucumber slices with peanut butter.

By this time in our trip even I was craving peanut butter! I also had a pb&j sandwich. I almost always have a pb sandwich everyday.

I love the buffets! Everyone can find something they like.

I missed what happened with the adult who stole Piglet from our table but my neighbour who was on vacation with us asked one of the character handlers if we could get Piglet back as two of the three children didn't get photos with him. We did get Piglet back after the parade around the room but then some little girl wouldn't leave his side so one of my neighbours kids got a picture with her in it. My niece never got a picture with Piglet as we were trying to get the other little girl out of the way.

About the Lactose Intolerance....

I to am like your niece but I found the best all natural pills a few years ago and it was the best find ever and I share this with anyone who has lactose issues like I did.

I take this pill that is a once a day enzyme. I take one pill in the morning and can eat whatever and whenever I want!! It is the best thing especially around the World in Disney. :cool1:

They are called Lactose Intolerance Therapy by Digestive Advantage. You can get them at Walmart (by the tums etc) or any pharmacy. The best thing is it's just once a day instead of popping Lactaid pills with every meal.

I just looked at my box and it says for children & adults 5 and over so this may be perfect for you niece when she turns 5. :yay:

Thanks for the rewviews too!!
