14 Night Panama Canal at Auction

Just got a Disney Visa newsletter that states they'll be auctioning off a 14 night DCL cruise from CA to FLA. I know some folks have been asking about that cruise's availability.

I laugh when I see the questions "should I do 3 day or 4 day" b/c I knew it was 7 or nothing for me!!! Now I'm sorry I didn't ask "should I do 7 day...or 10 day...or 14 day!!!"

You must be a Disney Visa holder in order to bid. I don't have one and never will. I am not sure that this auction is a benefit, but for those of you who do hold the card, and have enough credit available, it could be fun to bid. And the winner will be on a great cruise, so far there are about 400 Disers and family members deposited.

I didn't see the word "benefit" used anywhere in the promo, so I doubt it is. And just to be clear, the only point of my post was to let anyone who's interested know there was a potential availability of the 14 day cruise. I'm actually not a fan of the disney visa.

The web site and newsletter say "A portion of the net proceeds from each auction item will be donated to charity. " DH wants to bid on the 14 night cruise. I had no idea he was interested in the 14 night or I would have held one the day they were cheap I want to bid on the Cirque and Imagineer experiences!
