We have never been on a cruise longer than 7 days. Do the 14 night cruises repeat dining menus and nightly shows? I cant imagine DCL trying to have 14 different dining menus! If there are repeat menu nights-will DCL be able to tell me over the phone how the cruise is planned out? I know each ship has 3 stage shows-do they add anymore to the mix on longer cruises?

I've done two 14 night cruises and no they do not repeat dining menus. For the 14 night cruises you will see the same shows that you've seen on the 7 night cruises but each of the ships have their own unique shows. In addition you will also see various comedy shows, maybe a magic show, sometimes a special movie premier and a performance from a broadway type performer or one of the Disney animated performers (for example on one of my cruises we had the actress from one of the Disney musicals touring Europe and for the other we had the actress Lea Salonga who is the voice of Princess Jasmine from Aladdin but that's just one of her many credits). I can't wait to do another 14 night cruise but that's probably not for a few years since I just did one last year. I'll do a few more shorter cruises this year and next.

When we cruised through the Panama Canal, one of the guest performers was Susan Eagan, who was the original Belle on Broadway, and the voice of Meg from the animated Hercules. Love her voice.

On our DCL Hawaii cruise they had a local hula school perform for us. The dancers ranged in age from about 4 or 5 up to about 18.

The chef on the Canal cruise was trying out new menus and did an outstanding job. No repeat menus on the Hawaiian cruise either.

They also do a couple of additional stage shows on the longer cruises. Since there isn't room back stage for additional props, they use a combinations of existing props and sets from the three main stage shows. We enjoyed the extra shows very much, and thought they were on the same level as the regular shows.

We loved our 14 day PC cruise. We were never bored. Lots of things to do all day. I can't even imagine going anything less than seven, and even that seems too short.
