14 days and we haven't blown the secret yet!!

I am getting so rediculously excited about our upcoming trip! Only 14 days from now we'll be at Disneyland!!

It is hard to keep the secret isn't it? I kept our last trip a secret from the kids for over 100 days. It nearly killed me. But it was well worth it. Have a wonderful time!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could surprise someone with a trip. The trouble is I couldn't keep a secret if my life depended on it. As soon as I'm given a secret I start bubbling over with evil laughs and giggles that everyone around me knows I have a secret and all they have to do is ask and then I tell.
So good on you for keeping the secret this long, I couldn't have done it.

Are you going to take a picture when you finally tell them? I remember the photo of Jemilah's DS when he opened his Christmas gift that told him they were going to DL - Priceless!

I wish I could surprise my kids with something like that. But I do have a very hard time keeping a happy secret. A friend of mine once told me she was pregnant very early on in the pregnancy, and it nearly killed me not to say anything for three months!

Thanks everyone! Yes we will have a camera ready for when the kids figure out what we are doing. I just tucked my daughter in bed and she told me the detailed plans she has for her birthday.

"Well I know you'll say no.... but I really want to go to Disneyland..... but since we can't do that could we go to the movies and dinner at The Spaghetti Factory?"

I just can not wait.... Why can't we all have the disney butterflys on a daily basis??? If we could only package it we would all be millionares and we could live at Disney!
We have told my girls that we are making a video to send to their cousin in Austrailia so they won't wonder why the camera is rolling. They know they are doing it next Saturday but on Thursday as they are headed out to the school bus the phone will ring with my mom saying we need to do it NOW as their overseas cousin needs it for a school project tomorrow! Then we will interview each of them to give their names ages and favorite place to vacation in the USA... Of course they will talk about Disney. Next my dad will put on the Goofy ears and say that he LOVES Disney too and hey... would they like to go with him RIGHT NOW!!!!! Can you hear the screams already!!!!

I only visit this section of DIS occasionally. As a Disneyland local, I am SOOO excited for you. Sounds like such a fun surprise. I would LOVE to feel those excited butterflies when it comes to going to Disneyland. I will have to check back to hear just how excited your kids become when they learn your secret.
