So I know this is a long shot but thought I'd ask the question anyway.

We're coming over for two weeks from England in September. Saturday September 24 to Saturday October 8. We have 14 day passes, and the day we arrive may be the last day for the Star Wars fireworks at Hollywood studios so if we get to our resort on time we'd like to go straight over to watch them.

I have heard in the past that 14 day passes expire 14 days after the first day of use. So does this mean they'd still work on the final day for us, Saturday October 8th? That would be day 15 of using them.

If anyone knows or has tried this i'd really appreciate a definitive yes or no! Personally I wouldn't want to risk it but if we still have valid tickets on our final day before flying home I also wouldn't want to miss out. Thanks!

You get 14 consecutive days of use. The 1st day you use them is day 1. The 14th day is day 14. You cannot use them on day 15th.

The last day you can use your tickets is October 7th.

Thanks for this. May be conflicting info for uk visitors. The official Disney website says 14 day tickets expire 14 days after the first day of use.

Have you looked at those 21 day tickets available for UK folks? Not sure if it's Disney that sells them or someone else. I know people have mentioned them.

I'm very curious about this now you have mentioned it! We are doing the exact same but in November, 14 days from the Uk Saturday to Saturday. I hadn't even considered that we would have to choose between arrival day and departure day, how silly of me!

I think it's just confusingly worded.

Think of it less as "ticket experation" and more as "14 entries". You can enter a park 14 times, after that, they will no longer work.

Obviously if you have the park hopper option, the hopping doesn't count against your entries.

I know it might sound silly, but we booked Wilderness Lodge during the free ddp promotion, for 14 nights. so our 14 day ticket was "forced". It just didn't occur to me if I used it arrival day I wouldn't be able to use it departure, was just kind of assuming it was valid length of my stay, again silly me!

This might be a long shot and there is no guarantee but I would ask when you arrive. I wouldn't recommend calling because most people you talk on the phone when calling Disney have often never even been to WDW and often give our wrong information. I suggest asking when you get there if you could possibly upgrade an extra day for a small fee. While we have always had AP's for WDW (we visit from Australia) we have had CM's arrange extensions of various things we have come from a long distance and stay for 5-6 weeks at a time. It's worth asking.

Your only other option is so see if you can exchange the tickets you hold for the 21 day tickets. There isn't much of an extra charge (5 pound I believe?)

The Star Wars fireworks should get extended. I don't think you'll need to enter a park on your first night.

We have 21 day tickets included in our next trip. There was a big box that popped up when we were booking, to say that the tickets started on our check in day. This means we don't seem to get a choice whether we use them for check in or check out day at all.

I would e-mail in and ask (you have plenty of time). I find the e-mail people tend to know or research things better than the phone folks. Also if they say you can use the tickets on day 15 print out the reply..just in case

I watch the fireworks from the parking lot I know not the best view but if you really want to see them and they are not extending then this could be an option

Well if we try it I'll let you know how we get on!!
