14 Day Park to Park- $118 (Now only for Non-US Residents)

The reason it is a concern is because the offer is found on the Universal UK website (http://www.universal-bookings.co.uk/park.html)and says that valid photo ID is required. The only place in the USA that it is found is on the Viator website that no one had heard of before.

Here is the info as stated on the Universal UK website:

"A brand new ticket for customers visiting Universal Orlando Resort in 2009, the Universal 2-Park Bonus Ticket offers unlimited admission to both Universal’s Islands of Adventure® and Universal Studios Florida® for up to 2 weeks.

Tickets are activated the first time you visit one of the parks and you can visit both of the parks as many times as you like during this period. This great value ticket also includes all-club access to the live entertainment at Universal CityWalk®.

Ticket is valid for up to fourteen (14) consecutive days including the first day any theme park or CityWalk portion of the ticket is used. The Universal CityWalk® component of a ticket is not valid for separately ticketed concerts and special events. Some venues require ages 21 or older for admission. Valid photo ID required. Does not include admission to Universal Cineplex 20, an AMC Theatre or the Blue Man Group show. Subject to availability."

Personally, I would check with Universal before purchasing this particular pass. There have been issues before with agencies selling passes and not giving all information (ticketmaster). It could be perfectly fine but better safe than sorry.

Thank you for explaining to me. I didn't understand that it was a link for from a UK site.

Unfortunately, I have already purchased. Since they appear to be a reputable ticket sales agency, and there were no restictctions in their terms, if there is an issue I would expect them to make good on a refund. I certainly would not take the loss lying down.

I have faxed my tickets to Universal Studios two days ago when I called to verify is they were valid. This was what was suggested when I contacted Guest Services by phone. Awaiting a reply.

IMO...the ID is referring to the venues (clubs) of City Walk that require you to be 21 or older.

I may be wrong but that's how I read it. :confused3

On a separate note, I bought a UK ticket (private sale) a couple of years ago and did not need to show ID at the gate

A couple more questions. Do the vouchers have names on them? Does it expire? My DD's friend may join us this August. Or, she might not. I don't mind buying a pass as long as it doesn't expire if she can't make it.

It will only have the lead traveller's name.

Do those passes let you go from park to park the same day (park hopping)?

For anyone who purchased the tickets:

I asked ealier in this thread and didn't get an answer. When I went to buy the tickets they asked for my date of travel. I'm not sure when we will be going to USF. Did you have to enter a date of travel and if so was that date printed on your ticket?

Yes, but I'm not sure if you can change it. Maybe it's best that you contact them.

The ones I bought direct from Universal (14 day $129) had no specified dates on them. The tickets had names on for each person (i.e. one for me, one for my boyfriend).

I purchased 7 tickets through Viator. One voucher printed out with just the lead travelers name on it.
I called Universal guest services and spoke with the "voucher" expert. No one else had ever heard of the company, but she had.
She had me read the client number off the paper and told me yes, they are an official dealer of Universal tickets and the voucher is good. I will exchange the one voucher for 7 tickets at the gate, no problem.
What a deal! I am so excited and only wish we were staying longer than a week. I'd love to spend two weeks down there, taking my time in the parks each day, but not having to spend too many hours each day there.
The price per ticket after the coupon came out to be what the OP posted.
I don't think there is anything cheaper available.

I would also love to know the answer to this. I've sent in an inquiry to the vendor.

We have a trip planned in January. What are the chances that these tickets have some kind of expiration at the end of 2010? It seems to me the "travel date" function of the vendor's website is more to take care of normal travel packages rather than ticket sales but how can I be sure???

Hi - I purchased my tickets from Viator on 3/7 and printed out the travel voucher. It clearly states the date I requested as "date of Departure". I called to confirm that this means the tickets are good for 14 days after this date, and I was told that yes, they are.

Where on Universal site did you do this? I see no 14 day tickets for $129. I could be just missing it :)

Then add them to your cart and type the promo code, 7fab. This promo code will not work if you go directly to Viator's website.

Just ordered DIRECT from Viator website..

for each adult is USD$118.10 (original price USD$126.99 - savings of USD$8.89)

thanks for the promo code 7fab.

I am going to buy the tickets today and we'll be at Universal on Sunday. I will let you all know how it goes. THANKS for the coupon code. :goodvibes

This still doesn't answer if the Date of Departure is hard and fast. Depending on how you phrased the question, and how the agent interpreted it, the agent could be saying "Yes, the tickets are valid for 14 days from the first day of use." or "Yes, the tickets are valid for only the 14 day period starting on your Date of Departure."

So, anyone? Bueller?
