I always think it's a shame it's limited to the names on the ticket. I know they're likely worried about big groups using the one ticket, but I wish you could at least once change the names on the tickets by calling them etc. In my case, since we'll be flying home I would've liked to give the remainder of the ticket to my parents to use, but can't

That's why I said about having the ability to change the name on the tickets, even once, by calling them etc. Just a shame that we won't have time to use the 14 days and would've been a nice gesture for my parents

This deal is break even at two days and all gravy thereafter. I'm very suprised that Universal has not nipped this in the bud yet considering how they slammed the door on the AAA and Kroeger deals. I suggest jumping on this with both feet.

Although I'm UK-based, I got the ticket by phoning the US Orlando office. She found it on her system so I'd imagine US-based can buy it

That's not always the case. It depends on the market Universal is trying to reach. Quite often there have been special ticket deals that locals had no idea about since they weren't trying to reach us. I hope you're right but don't assume everyone can purchase special tickets.

I tried to buy these tickets but noticed you have to enter a travel date. I'm not sure when we are traveling to USF - wonder if the tickets are only good for 14 days after the date you enter?

Don't freak out yet, haha! We don't necessarily have reason to believe they can only be used by UK residents other than the "UK" in the item code and the fact that 14 day tickets have never been available before to US residents. You would assume that they wouldn't ship to a US address if you couldn't actually use the tickets, but who knows?

Forgive me for being one of those "half empty" people. It only takes being burned a time or two with those customer service calls. I would want it in writing via e-mail or something that those tickets could be used by a US resident.

I certainly would not take the word of the company selling the ticket. They just want to make a buck. Just look at the transportation board at the number of people who have called a car rental customer service to see if they could use a code and have gotten verification that they could, only to go to the pick up counter and be denied. Just because they tell you one thing over the phone doesn't mean it will be that way at the gate.

I do agree with calling Universal, but I would want it in writing specifically saying US residents can use the tickets. I would then, being the "half empty" person I am, reverify with corporate headquarters and get that in writing. I like deals as much as the next person, but it would not be a deal if you end up buying more tickets.

I have my vouchers in hand. Printed them off as soon as I paid for them online.
Can't beat this price-we're only going to be at Universal 4 park days, but it's still better than any other offer out there.

I think that some people are just concerned that you will have to show UK identification when you get to the park and try to enter with those vouchers---similar to Florida resident offers.

Just ordered the tickets. They are vouchers that I need to exchange with the park. Since I'm staying at the RPR, can I exchange the voucher for the actual tickets at the front desk?

From there, search for the tickets... add it to cart and type in the promo code, 7fab. The promo code won't work if you just type in Viator's URL.

The reason it is a concern is because the offer is found on the Universal UK website (http://www.universal-bookings.co.uk/park.html)and says that valid photo ID is required. The only place in the USA that it is found is on the Viator website that no one had heard of before.

Here is the info as stated on the Universal UK website:

"A brand new ticket for customers visiting Universal Orlando Resort in 2009, the Universal 2-Park Bonus Ticket offers unlimited admission to both Universal’s Islands of Adventure® and Universal Studios Florida® for up to 2 weeks.

Tickets are activated the first time you visit one of the parks and you can visit both of the parks as many times as you like during this period. This great value ticket also includes all-club access to the live entertainment at Universal CityWalk®.

Ticket is valid for up to fourteen (14) consecutive days including the first day any theme park or CityWalk portion of the ticket is used. The Universal CityWalk® component of a ticket is not valid for separately ticketed concerts and special events. Some venues require ages 21 or older for admission. Valid photo ID required. Does not include admission to Universal Cineplex 20, an AMC Theatre or the Blue Man Group show. Subject to availability."

Personally, I would check with Universal before purchasing this particular pass. There have been issues before with agencies selling passes and not giving all information (ticketmaster). It could be perfectly fine but better safe than sorry.
