We are staying at OKW so want to take account of ease of getting to and from our choices
The bold one are musts- kids choices

At parks we have

1. teppan edo
2. Sci Fi
3. san Angel
4. Mama melrose (not sure about this one)

DDD

5. Planet Hollywood
6. Raglan Road (just because its easy to get to)

Resorts

7 Sanna
8 Konna Cafe
9 &10 Cali Gril

Board Walk
11. Kouzzina
12. & 13 Flying Fish

14 ?????

Should I remove Mama Melrose and replace with Artist point, yatchsman, citrose or Narcoossie this would also use up no 14. If not what should I try for no 14.

How difficult will it be to get back to okw from the board walk and the resorts after eating

Thanks for all help

Out of your choices, I would do Narcoosees instead of Mama Melrose. If you want to stay in HS, I would do Brown Derby for 2 credits. Its one of my favorite restaurants at Disney.
Getting to Narcoosees - Take the bus to get to the TT Center from your resort. & then take the monorail from the transportation center (resort monorail).
Or if go to the MK (get there by the bus), take the monorail or boat to the Grand Floridian.
Not one of your choices, but I like Flying Fish (2 credits) at Boardwalk. If you are at HS, you can take the boat from HS to BW. & if the park is still open, take the boat back to HS or Epcot (although HS would be easier) and take the bus back to your resort.

You don't have a choice at MK. I like Liberty Tree tavern (1 credit) or Crystal Palace for breakfast.

Will you be using park hopper passes or staying in the same park for the day once you go to one?

Mama Melrose's was my DH's and my kids' favorite restaurant of all that we did. But having said that, I'm sure from the reviews the signatures you were thinking of would also be really great.

If you stick with Mama Melrose's I'd suggest adding on one of these: Ohana, Cape May, Via Napoli... or book a breakfast at Crystal Palace for one of the earliest seatings and enjoy walking into Magic Kingdom before opening and getting the best pics with no crowds around on your way walking to the restaurant.

oh, and I've also seen some good mentions for Chefs de France and I've been thinking that if my girls don't get wind of the Remy interaction thing I'll book next time for a seating that will give us a good chance of seeing it... seems like it would be a cool surprise magic moment for them.

I would definitely get AP in there somewhere, best restaurant at WDW in my opinion.

Hi we do have park hoppers, but do try and stick to one park all day.

How easy is it to get to/ from wilderness to try AP

(I am not very mobile and after a long day at the parks will not want to do too much walking and would rather not use my wheelchair for going out for diner- Its going to be hard enough to use it in the day but I know that there is no way out of that)

I likes Mama Melrose.... , but I would switch it up in a heartbeat for a signature, Narcosee or AP

You don't have any character meals, are they something your family enjoys? We love them.

What about a dinner show?

For me, personally, I am less interested in the food, and more in the atmosphere, or doing something that we can't do at home. Texans love to eat, so we can get just about anything here, in any price range. At first I was tempted to book the signatures and stuff, but then the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I wanted to choose places that are more about the experience, so I booked 4 character meals and 2 dinner shows, and then Sci Fi, San Angel, Ohana, etc because of the atmosphere.

we were the same about the character meals, but girls are now 19 and 15 so getting to the not so fussed stage :sad2: Also we are not fans of buffet meals.

However I'm still looking for unusual atmosphere- hoping to get that at sci fi, teppan (nothing like that were we live), San Angelo and cali gril for the fireworks. I have just looked up the Remmy mouse thing so may try and add that in somewhere.

The girls are real foodies but as eldest is at uni she doen't get to explore that passion much  so I would like to include a few really nice ones food wise.
