If the military person is buying the tickets for friends, do the friends have to show military id at WDw?
Can a military person buy the tickets and send the friends to WDW without being with them?
Originally, my daughter's bf mom was attending with us, and buying the tickets. Now she will not be able to travel with us, and I still extended taking her daughter and she extended buying the tickets for us since it will save us a lot of money.

I believe the policy for military tickets has always been the same. Someone with military ID needs to be there at the time the tickets are activated (active duty, retired, or spouse with dependent ID).

This was all I could find on it. I'm not sure where the "official word" can be found.

we used them last year and had to show ID at WDW when we activated them so I don't *think* you can have her buy them and then you use them without her.
