My son-in-law just called.. So far they have given her the IV; demerol; and phenobarbitol.. They'll be coming to take her for her MRI shortly..

Those spinal headaches are horrible, I ended up with one after I had a lumbar puncure when I was in the hospital for unexplained horrible headaches when I was pregnant with ds. They made me suffer with it for 3 days before they did the spinal patch but boy it was instant relief when they did it.

I hope your dd feels better soon!!!

I am so sorry she is going through all this, and then not taken seriously on top of it.

I have taken antidepressants in the past. My PCP is aware of it, but she, thankfully, does not focus on that. I will admit, however, that anywhere else I have to give any history (walk-in clinic, ER, insurance stuff), I have never mentioned it out of the fear that I would be treated differently.
