I know this sounds like an impossible number - is it? Should we try for it or tell the husbands and daddys they can't go. Has anyone ever booked for this large of a crowd.

I booked a party of 10 for 8:15, my cousin also booked for that same day, a party of 10 (we are all in the same party) for 8:25 & then I booked the next day for 10 at 8:15.

They just told us that the tables are a 4/6 split.

My advice is to call Group Dining before your 90 day mark and ask their advice. Maybe Group Dining can even book this for you.

If they can't help, my advice is to call and be prepared to break up the party - book 2 tables of 4 and 1 of 5, or 2 of 5 and 1 of 8, or whatever you can get.

Don't tell the men that they can't go unless it a last resort.

My very macho, rough, gruff, "Disney is for Sissies" brother still gets tears in his eyes when he talks about the breakfast his family had at CRT a few years ago. One of his princess-crazy daughters is a special needs child. He was so happy to see her so excited and so grateful to the princesses who treated her so very nice.

Anyway, I don't think the Daddies, Grandpas or Uncles should miss seeing how excited thier little princesses will be to eat in the castle. Besides, what guy wouldn't like being addressed as "My Lord"? :teeth:

Best wishes -

We had a party of 11 last December and I had no problem getting a table on my first try. Although it's not exactly a busy time of the year. However, I was prepared to ditch the boys and one of the Mom's in order to get a table. So when I called, I had my numbers ready so as not to dawdle. If they declined the reservation of 11, then I was quickly prepared to say, well then how about 7? It can literally come down to a couple of seconds as to whether or not you get the ressie at all. This way, if you can't get the table for 13, get if for the lowest number, then try again tommorow.
By the way, we all sat together at about 4 tables pushed together right in the middle of the dining room. It was perfect, we could see everything from there. Good luck!

I got ADR for 17 for 12:00 without a problem. I called directly to the group dining number (I think they do parties of 13 and up) and it was simple. There are no buttons to push or anything, so I think it is actually easier to get through. I was really afraid I wouldn't get it, but it wasn't a problem at all.

Thanks to my mom, we had 16 for breakfast at CRT! They split us up into tables of 6-6-4 but the PS times were within 5 or 10 min of each other.

Do you have a grand gathering number? If not, see about getting one assigned then call 407) WDW PLAN instead of WDW DINE (or in addition to, using a different phone). We had one assigned for our upcoming family vacation since our party was so large. I used this number twice and was able to get CRT breakfast two mornings in a row (I cancelled the first one when I made the second one)with virtually no wait on hold. They will ask for your grand gathering number, so have it ready. Good luck!
