13 Going on 30 - loved it, reminded of me and DH!

I LOVED this movie. I said to the kid - Wouldn't it be great if you could go forward in time and see what would happen if you behaved one way or the other?! I met DH in 8th grade, sat at the same table as him at the Junior Prom. He still brings up the time me and my still best friend made fun of him when he was a new boy -- I also teased him at the Prom. He was very quiet and well a little square. I'm always telling my 7th grade girls -- be nice to the dorky boys you never know. Oh well, I tell DH he got even by making me put up with him for 20 years.

Yep, me too. I thought it was a sweet movie. I really love Jennifer Garner (never miss Alias). Isn't she adorable? Man, those dimples are just so darn cute.

I love this movie. Of course, I also am obsessed with Alias and think Jennifer Garner is wonderful. It was a funny movie and just so cute.

We just watched it last night for the first time. I thought it was the cutest movie. I wasn't too familiar with Jennifer Garner since I don't watch Alias, but I thought she did a great job! What amazed me is how they were able to find that girl who played the young Jennifer Garner. She looked SO much like her! If you watch the special features at the end of the DVD, make sure you look at the pics of Jennifer when she was young. It's amazing how similar they look. They're in the section called "The Geeks" or something like that.

I loved the boy that played the young Mark Ruffalo too. He did a great job. So did Mark Ruffalo, actually.

Both of my daughters and even my DH liked the movie as well. DS11 just He prefers a little more action.

HC - Every time we go to a Class Reunion someone always says "I can't believe you two got married" and then they usually add to DH "Boy you must have changed" -- he gets so mad.

DD & I watched this today also. I really enjoyed it! Nice, romantic, silly, cute......warm fuzzies, even tho I got teary a couple times for Jenna.

Does anybody else think she looks like a young Julia Roberts sometimes?? Myabe it's just me.

I liked it! I'm not a cheesy predictable romantic comedy person but I enjoyed watching how Jennifer Garner perfectly portrayed the facial expressions of a 13 yo! =)
