I think thats an excellent idea. For me it would be a new pattern or fabric. Been to the newport mansions a couple of times. Love them. Did you know that one of them is now up for sale. The owner paid $175,000 for it in the 70's so I'm sure it has increased in value substantially since then.

The last time we went to newport was at Christmas. Very pretty. Heck by then you'll be done all those books and probably be ready to take the trip!

Funny you should mention Christmas, because I'm pretty sure that one of the bus tour companies in our area has a trip over there at Christmas time..

Do you know which mansion it is that is for sale?

Did you go to Hammersmith Farm while you were there? Jackie's families former summer home and the place where she and JFK had their reception?

Well technically speaking, I have a "summer cottage" too - that could easily fit in one of the bathrooms of those mansions!

Hammersmith Farm is great and you hear a lot of interesting info doing the tour..
