i was scared to go on THE HAUNTED MANSION

can any one tell me wat this ride is like???

The Haunted Mansion is pretty damn scary.

Not as terrifying as ?, @, and ^, though. They REALLY made me pee my pants!!!

The Haunted Mansion is funny and a little spooky, but not scary to answer your original question. It takes very little to entertain us if you haven't noticed. Nothing better than making fun of our fanatical dis board selves.

Back to the fake thread...don't even get me started on the menu changes at 'Ohana. Ever since they took [ off the menu it hasn't been the same. If it weren't for the %%% and *//~ the cousins bring out, I wouldn't even bother.
I am still miffed that I can't use my refillable mug from 1992 there.

Haha! It's so true. You've hit our personalities right on the head! This is my favorite thread! I like to compare it to Seinfeld. It really is a 'show about nothing'! You give us literally nothing and we make a huge deal of it!

Now that I think about it...we have probably officially scared the s*** (no, not the ride) out of the OP. Not only have we turned them off DIS boards but WDW as a whole! A message to the OP: It's true, we are an easily ammused bunch of flakes. But, we are harmless flakes! Much love.

Hey, as promised in a previous post here, I am back to give you my opinion on the ride if you weren't just joshin' us! I do hope you enjoyed the humor, though, I can't speak for everyone, but it certainly wasn't intended as being mean!

Anyway, HM. That's one that has loomed on my "I don't know" radar for years and years. Having been to WDW and DL too many times to count, this is one I could take or leave. Oddly enough, when we went to DL when DS's were 5 & 7, my older son, who had happily sat through Space mt., Thunder mt, the pirates and Indiana Jones, screamed/cried/freaked out on the HM. My younger one thought it was the best fun in the world! It's always been one I could take or leave. I enjoy parts of it, but there are parts of it that are kinda uncomfortable to me. Though, it's NOTHING as bad as the typical carnival HM. And, it's not gory.

My husband thinks "It's a Small World" is the scariest ride at WDW. I had to beg him to ride it with me. He hasn't gotten over the "horrors" of being forced to ride it when he was a young boy who was into Transformers -- not high-pitched-singing dolls.

Hope we didn't offend, but I thought you were joking. I'm still not convinced you aren't pulling our legs with the Haunted Mansion. I don't think it is scary, but I like haunted houses and scary movies. That said, one of things I really like about the Haunted Mansion is how the cast members stay in character.

I think the OP may be a child (at the risk of offending them...). I read their other threads and they are all about being scared on certain rides, too. I think they really do want to know if HM is scary or not. And the fact that they completely missed what direction the thread took!

Now that's said... this thread is really creative and I agree with SnoopyDancer's DH = Small world is the scariest ride at WDW!

OK, time to add my 2 cents to the original question. I don't find the Haunted Mansion to be scary at all. I hate scary movies (I never watch them) but I love the haunted mansion. I think that the Haunted Mansion is a lot of fun and I am currently trying to convince my niece (8) and my nephew (9) to go on it when they are in MK.
