Does anyone have any ideas to help make my 12 year old daughter's birthday a memorable one while we are in WDW in Feb? Thank you!

I took my daughter for her 13th birthday. We spent her/our birthday at the castle for lunch. She felt very grown up. Maybe tea at the Grand Floridian or see if there is a Spa treatment for her. I also started her on a charm bracelet collection. She got a new charm this christmas when we went. She always talkes about her special trip.

How about CRT breakfast and a hair wrap or charm bracelet idea?! We had a similar day for our DD at 12 and she loved it. The Prince is very charming with older girls birthdays!

My son still talks about the surprise Illuminations birthday cruise from the Beach Club boat dock we did when he was 9...it was 4 years ago. He loved the ride to MGM with our very friendly, fun loving driver that happened to be originally from Illinois before he retired in FL which really made it great. DH and DS talked Chicago sports with him.

The birthday cake was awesome (looked great & tasted good) and came with pop/soda too. The view from the boat was great and not having to fight the crowds or get a spot an hour before the start was wonderful. The other boats all sang happy birthday to him. It was fun to cruise past the crowds walking back to the Boardwalk, Beach & Yacht Clubs.

We had originally booked it believing that friends in Tampa would be joining us for the surprise. Unfortunately those plans fell through, which made the ride a little pricey at the time. Now realizing that he still treasures that surprise, it was well worth the $$.

Hope you can find something that will make your DD's day special.

What we did is go the Town Hall it is on the left side of the MK after you enter. They give a Birthday Pin. She was so happy as every CM and character noticed that it was her special day. She has been an Eeyore fan for years and we had breakfast with Pooh, and gang/. Tigger did a birthday dance and Eeyore gave her a big hug. Made her day. We had an early res so we were inside the Castle for the rope drop. Also if you are staying inside tell the res desk and they give a nice size photo of Minnie signed. It was on her bed when we got back from the park. Even though she was 12 she loved every second. I guess Disney does that to all ages.
