Q1 - have you cruised before? DCL or some other ship?

We have only cruised DCL. 1st one was a 3 nt 12/04, then we rebooked for the 7 nt double dip 12/06, and of course we had to rebook again for this one!

Q2 - Will you be staying at WDW before/after your cruise? and where?

We will probably stay for 3 nights pre-cruise at the BCV. We are planning on doing MK, Epcot and MGM.

Q3 - Which port are you most looking forward to visiting on this cruise?

1 - Castaway Cay! but 2- probably St. Maarten for the scenery and shopping!

Q4 - Are you early/late dinner seating, and why did you choose that?

Late

We have done late on the last 2 cruises and it has worked out well. Early seating just seems too early to have dinner, esp since we are west-coasters. I do like the earliest late seating tho (8 pm).

Q5 - Which cabin category (or room # if you requested it) are you staying in? Why did you pick that? What do you love about that location?

We have reserved 7114, which was the same cabin that we stayed in on the Wonder on our first cruise. We originally booked a cat 8 on that cruise and were upgraded to the 5. On the last cruise, we booked a 6 and were upgraded to a 4! So this time we had to at least go with the verandah that we loved -- and maybe we'll get pixie dust again and get upgraded, but I won't be disappointed to stick with what we reserved.

Just found this thread-DH and I are on this one-cat6-late dining-looking forward to St Maarten-by this cruise will have cruised 6 times-all DCL.
Always choose midship in all directions due to sea sick issue. Hoping to add couple days before and after at WDW but will wait a little while yet before deciding where. Like late dining-prefer to see early show, take time getting ready for dinner and not rushing back from excursions.

Hello everybody!

I can't wait to get to know all of you! I will be going on this cruise with my mom. It is a mother/daughter trip! We have not booked yet as we are still debating between a Cat 6 and a Cat 9. I hope to book soon though! We will also be going to WDW for a few days before the cruise where I hope to attend MVMCP. We shall see though. It just feels so far away! I am really excited though. This will be our first cruise and my first trip to the Caribbean. My mom gets to go to Antigua with her friend who owns a timeshare there this November, I am really jealous!

Yes we have taken two cruises. One was a 5 day Carnival Cruise to the Western Carib and the other was a 7 day on the Magic to the Eastern Carib.

We will be staying the week before our cruise at Beach Club Villas and then a couple days when we return also.

We cruised DCL 11/01 3 days WDW, 4 days DCL. Then we tried RCCL 12/04 for the 7 night Western, then back to DCL for 3 nights 9/06
