Here's my report on our last day in the park.

Yesterday we "slept in" until 0730 and departed the hotel at 0820 for our 0900 reservation for breakfast at River Belle and some delicious Mickey Pancakes. As we entered the park, I pulled an FP for Radiator Springs racers at 1340 and we did the Sleeping Beauty Castle walk-through to kill a little time before heading to our reservation.

After breakfast we went and rode Small World in the stand by line. The wait was about 20 minutes, so it was nice to let our breakfast settle and knock off one of my eldest son's requests for day 3. Just prior to a leisurely cruise I pulled a fast pass for Buzz Lightyear, so after our world tour it was off to blast Zurg. Once we scanned in, I pulled a pass for Guardians at 1400.

Following the exciting showdown we did some shopping in Store Command, then New Orleans Square and rode Winnie the Pooh, which had a substantial (but manageable) 20 minute wait.

Grabbing some snacks at Pooh Corner, We started making our way over to California Adventure at 1300. Due to the planned thrill rides and our late breakfast, we decided to hold off on lunch until after. I pulled a fast pass for Incredicoaster for 1425 for a DCA trifecta.

As we entered, we encountered Oswald, who is my eldest son's favorite character, so my sons hopped in line to meet him. It was only a few minutes before we snapped some pictures and headed to Cars Land to start our DCA afernoon

The fast pass line for RSR was all the way out to the scanner and the stand-by time was over 3 hours, but we scanned in at 1355 and were off to tour Radiator Springs. For a statistically improbable 7th time in a row, we got Ramon's paint shop. This time we lost our race, but it was fun nonetheless.

We headed straight for Guardians. Immediately after we scanned in, we were informed that two of the three gantries were down. We were given the option to stay and ride or get multiple experience passes. We opted to stay despite the wait (which was still not terrible since we were fast pass holders), and got "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" to complete the only song I'd never gotten (random numbers giveth and random numbers taketh away!). I snagged a fast pass for Haunted Mansion, then we then booked it over to Incredicoaster. My youngest wasn't feeling the Incredicoaster, so we rider swapped to give my eldest two rides.

Almost 1600 now, we decided we wanted to eat...so we dropped in on Lamplight Lounge and put our name on the list. I got a text that the wait would be 15 minutes. 30 seconds later I got a text that our table was ready, so we headed inside and down to the water for a late lunch.

On the way out of the park, we swung by the Cozy Cone to grab my Red's Apple Freeze, then headed to Downtown Disney to check out the World of Disney store so my kids could spend some gift cards they had. After looking around we then entered DL for the last time this trip.

(somewhere in there I also pulled a fast pass for Matterhorn at 1015...don't remember when)

We headed for the Mint Julep bar first to grab a couple of bags of Begneits and some Mint Juleps, then took the back alley to Haunted Mansion for our appointment with Jack. As we descended the stretching room, I pulled a cancelled fast pass for Big Thunder for immediately after. Snacking on the delicious powdered sugar Mickey heads, we made our way along the water of the Rivers of America to get to Big Thunder.

Before we boarded the wildest ride in the west, I pulled a cancellation for Space Mountain, so after we left Frontierland we headed for the land of Tomorrow for our mission to space.

After we got into line at Space Mountain, I pulled ANOTHER cancellation for Space Mountain.

At this point, my eldest son informed me that Maxpass was definitely "OP" (Over Powered) and wasn't even fair, considering the standby time of 110 minutes at that point. However, he still wanted to ride, so we did the back to back missions while feeling only slightly guilty.

We got some dinner at Alien Pizza Planet while my daughter and her boyfriend peeled off to Golden Horseshoe. I pulled a fast pass cancellation for Indy at 2315. After dinner we did a little shopping on Main Street, then made our way slowly to Adventureland to get the group back together as the fireworks concluded. Caught in the throngs of crowds, we moved slowly in their direction, taking a circuitous route in accordance with DL crowd control.

Once we made our rendezvous, half the group headed back to the hotel while my two sons and I pledged to close the park. We started with Dole whip (mobile ordered) then experienced the Enchanted Tiki Room. We then went to the Matterhorn to use our fastpass and visit Harold one last time. After that, we went to Buzz Lightyear where I scored my all time high score of 767,600. Then we hopped into the Star Tours standby line. We were slightly delayed when another passenger on our flight discovered a protein spill in the cabin from a previous flight, causing us to be rerouted to a different craft, but we were then able to visit Kashyyk and Naboo to deliver the rebel spy to saftey.

We then made our way to Adventure Land to use our fast pass for Indy. We got off the ride at 2354 and decided to try and catch the last boat for Jungle Cruise. We were the first ones on the last boat, which filled completely before setting sail at midnight. Skipper Katie guided us through the perilous waters while pointing out every single animal that could grow to be over 500 pounds and leap 25 feat.

We returned to the dock about 0015 and decided a celebratory churro was in order, so we made our way up main street to the churro cart to obtain the well deserved rewards of our labor before walking back to the hotel to rest for our departure from the Magic Kingdom.

No regrets.

Sounds like a great day! You guys know how to pack it all in (while taking the occasional hiccup in stride).

What an amazing day! Thanks so much for sharing and what fantastic luck with MP!

What a great day! Funny you mentioned statistics on ride versions. We’ve been on Guardians Atleast 40 times and have yet to get the Hit me with your best shot version. Life goals :)

I didn't know you could get text-paged for your table at Lamplight! I have never been even before the refurb because I am anti-line. I just might give it a try knowing I can wander around while waiting for my table. I wonder if they do the same for the Carthay lounge :scratchin

Sounds like so much fun. When my friends and I did maxpass for the first time, we also felt guilty at how much we accomplished in such a short time (7 rides by 11am with an 8 am park opening). However we quickly got over it lol.

Lamplight does this for downstairs seating. I am not sure about the upstairs bar area.

Seems like a lot of the table service restaurants are going to this - Wine Country Trattoria also sent me a text when my table was ready. I can't speak for Carthay since we didn't go there.
