We actually cancelled a B2B to take this New Years Cruise.

I know this is a real cruise! We just got our first documents back from Disney.

It's a long way off but I know someone here is on this cruise.

I understand Pirate Night will be New Years.
I don't normally get firewirks on New Years. I think this is why my wife picked this cruise.

The 12/30 cruise was moved to the Wonder and the Wonder 12/28 cruise was moved to the magic.
The wonder trip got a new thread but the Magic got bubkiss as far as I can tell.
Maybe I really do have the ship all to myself...

Hi!

You are not alone!! We booked this cruise after waiting specifically for it to be loaded into the system it for a few months. I've been checking here every few weeks to see if anyone would add/start this cruise meet-up! Seems like such a long way away still ;(.

We have been on only two cruises (Dream in 2012 & Magic last March/April) & we don't have another one scheduled 'til then.....so sad for us. Hopefully nothing happens to change this cruise for us, because I am excited about it!! Can't wait to see the new, refurbished Magic, have a great New Years Eve & check out some new-to-us ports!! A cruise meet group will hopefully make the time go quicker .

My wife and I are super excited about this cruise... my DD isn't so much. We have not been on the Magic but have been on the Wonder a couple of times. We really like the Wonder so my expectations are high

We just got some more pirate gear... little stuff to keep us going.

Glad to have you in this long wait support group. I need to see if I can get my DW to setup a FB group as well.

We have 4 of us. My husband and I & our (will be) 13 & just turned 15 year old girls. They are pumped already! They love cruising. And the plan is to add a night or two at WDW before the cruise.

A FB page would be great, eventually. I find them so much easier to use than Disboards (sorry if I'm offending anyone ) and more conversational among the whole group.

Are you planning on starting a Fish Extender group or two? We love doing them! That will give us something to do for awhile. And we love magnets!!

Decided to book this cruise when we sail on the fantasy at the end of November. We are a family of three and our friends are a family of four really looking forward! I'll be back when we are officially booked! It's gonna be a party!

Hi! I'm back!! I don't go on the computer much. And we just got back from a long weekend in Disney World running in the Tower of Terror 10 Miler and enjoying the Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (very busy trip!!). I decided to dress up for the party as a pirate so I could be all ready with a costume for the cruise for Pirate Night (nothing like planning ahead!! lol).

It's a big, big week for the Magic!! She's on her way back to the states & I am looking forward to seeing all the new refurbishments and everything they've done. Too bad I can't see it all in person! ;( 14 months is a long time!!

WOW!! Just noticed that sad purple face in totally the wrong place! haha!! Disclaimer: I am not much of a disboards user at all!!

Welcome and glad to have you "onboard". We've had really great FE experiences 4 cruises now so hopefully you'll decide to participate and have a wonderful one to make up for the past….

I'm sorry to hear about your bad FE experience. Our only experience was positive, even though we did have our neighbor tell us kids were trying to take some candy bars out of our FE :/. We just made a point to check it more regularly after that.

So....we have not done this itinerary yet (and hopefully it doesn't change!!). Does anyone have any places/excursions they've been to or heard about that they really want to try? I've heard good things about the turtle farm from the FB groups I'm in. And we loved the stingray adventure on Castaway Cay.
