I wouldn't call myself a regular being 3000 miles away. However with that being said I had to figure it out quickly. Tour Guide Mike can help you plan your days based on crowd expectations at each park. eg: try to avoid emh parks on those days and hop over there if you want to see something special. As always hit rope drop and go back for a rest during the day if necessary and then back for dinner and evening activities. Having adr's restricts your schedule a bit as you have to plan your days as more structured however you would be eating cs every day without them. Plan what parks/hotels you want to see and plan your meals around that. The calendar on the WDW website is out for December showing hours and the emh hours. If you go the theme park and strategies forum you can click on a link through there and receive a DIS discount on the program if you want to use it. I would recommend using it for peak travel times it is worth every penny.![]()
Thanks Annette. I'll go check it out. We will be eating most meals CS as we tend to do everything on the fly. We will probably eat breakfast at Kona Cafe so will want ADR's for that. We want one dinner at Sci Di Drive In,One at Kona, and if we decide to get Cirque tickets, Planet Hollywood. There will be no escape from the crowds considering we will be there Christmas week.
Our biggest delimma is what to do on arrival day. Our flight gets in at 10 am,so we have plenty time. The problem is, will we have enough energy to actually DO anything. Our flight leaves DFW at 6:30 am,which means we have to be at the airport at 4 am? Maybe sooner as it is Christmas.
