DH is finally helping me.....Thank God cuz I needed a drink at 7 this morning and I REALLY don't want to go to work tomorrow but at least I'm not on call!!

Glad Mike is helping out. If Dale were still home he would leave the packing to me, but would clean the house and help with the laundry.
I can't believe you have to work tomorrow. Don't those people know you have a vacation to start?

I think Scuba Mom suggested we use any type name tag we want, and meet about 3:00. I just forgot where Hopefully she will pop back in and help us out.


Well, laundry is all done. Online check in filled out and signed. Passports and cirque tickets are in my carry on bag.Suitcases have been handed out to the kids,and all that remains is to put something into them.

Hope everyone is having better luck at getting packed than I am.

In the past, a time and place have been agreed to by the group to meet before the sailaway party. I think the last group was at 3pm on Deck 10 mid-ship on the side of the ship closest to the Terminal. Whatever this group decides is fine with us. It will be nice to meet everyone and put "faces" and names together. We have been spoiled in the past by cruising with a friend who makes buttons for everyone with their DIS name and Real name. It makes it easier to find each other. Just pick a time and a place and hopfully many of us can connect.

Sooo, let's just say 3:00 PM, Deck 10 midship closest to the terminal. I'll try my best to be there. I'm not going to promise, as I would feel terrible if something came up and I couldn't get there.

Good morning!

Almost finished packing. Mostly just toiletries left to get in where ever they will fit.

Any thoughts on how accurate a bathroom scale would weigh our luggage? I put our big 27 in upright on and it weighed just under 40 lbs. Debating on if I want to add anymore to it. Cause you know I like to push the limits

Oh and I need to check the kids packing jobs. Last thing I need is to get to Fl and find that Michael forgot to pack his underwear, or Lindsey didn't pack her hair dryer and flat iron. You just know it will would somehow be all my fault

Good morning!

The dive gear and food made it, but the clothing was left at home. I had only what I was wearing

Thankfully it was only a dive trip so a quick trip to Publix and Kmart did me for the week.

We are on our way! Leaving for Dallas now, and flying out in the morning. By noon we should be on the DCL bus on our way to the Poly for four days of park marathons

My boys left this morning, and I actually pulled an all-nighter last night. With SO much stuff piling up all week, we just never could get to packing. SO last night I had a packing marathon, and never went to bed. It was bad this morning at school, but after a coffee and a huge soda, I started pulling it together. The boys got on their way, and we are simply packing the carry-ons tonight and going to BED! I am too old for this craziness!

By the way, Courtney, I apologize for the lingo. My "team" consists of the 2nd grade teachers at our school. Each grade level is called a team. Bit misleading, I guess, since none of us are any kind of athletes!! We ended up going to Happy Hour this afternoon, which I didn't have time for but needed to do for myself anyway!! Then it was last-last-minute shopping and here I am, ready to strangle the girls because they are splashing and fussing in the bathtub. And my bad dog just broke into the house. Quite loudly. He's a big dumb sweet chocolate lab, and naughty as can be! Anyway, plenty of distractions to keep me from finishing and trying to get some shut-eye! AT least my flight got changed to 30 min. LATER, so I get a little extra sleep!

See you all soon! Off to OKW for one night and then Vero Beach till Wed. 3:00 on deck 10 midship, terminal side. IF we all keep repeating it, maybe everyone will get the reminder!

no worries about apologizing for the lingo. i guess i just got excited with the team talk. my soccer team disbanded due to our goalie's change in schedule. pretty stupid if you ask me. i am now team-less and getting out of shape. but with the holidays i decided to wait until after to go pimp myself to another team. i didn't even think about the team being teachers. our teachers do that too. i didn't need to go to a party friday night either but i needed it for me as well. we went to bed at 2 am.

Our suitcases are packed and we are doing our 2 final loads of laundry before we board the ship. Concierge on the DVC 6th level was beyond fantastic and I really hope to be able to do it again some time LOLOLOL ....as if!

Hey everyone!

We got to meet Courtney and her family Sunday night. Just a few minutes during wishes on the Poly beach.

Annette, boy was it cold! Lindsey and I decided to watch wished from main street last night. I was in capris and flip flops

All packed up...again. Luggage ready for DCL to pick up in the morning. Not sure when we will get to the ship. We meet in the lobby at 11 am. I'm guessing about 1 ish. Hope eveyone had a safe trip. Will see you onboard tomorrow
