What me? Worry? No way! PLENTY of time!

We have a tree in the house .. no lights and no decorations yet, but we have a tree. Presents, ahh, Santa brings all of those doesn't he? :rolleyes1

I too have not started Christmas Shopping yet. Our family has had so much going on with people sick and in the hospital, cars in the shop and things breaking in the house that I haven't had time to sleep let alone go shopping. My children are grown (youngest DD is 20) and the two oldest will not be able to come home this Christmas, one in CA and one in IL, because of budget or work. DH and I don't exchange gifts, we are working on our house so that is our gift. :santa:

So I will try to go out in the next couple of days and do something. The children understand that the older you get the less you get, and now that they are older they never know what they want anyway, or I couldn't afford it.

So to all of you that are in the same boat as we are, Merry Christmas and remember that the true meaning of Christmas is not by how much is under the tree, but that you have your health, a roof over your head, food to eat (this is quite important in my family) :goodvibes and your family. (A trip to WDW would be nice too!) :thumbsup2

Merry Christmas to everyone...

All decorated. All presents bought. All presents shipped that needed to be shipped. All presents wrapped. Now to enjoy the season!

Me too! My personality will not let me wait until the last minute and I need to have it all done and wrapped and ready to go at least a week in advance.

I do, though, have to get stocking stuff and will do the next few days.
A quick stop to Duane Reade will take care of the stockings.

Merry Christmas!

For the first time ever I have no presents bought yet. Was waiting on the little "extra something" from work - finally came through today. I've decorated but have no tree and I'm not getting a tree this year. DS(13) and DH both could care less about a Xmas tree - I (or Santa) should fill their stockings with coal.

MY personality has me buying stuff really early (I was nearly done on Black Friday!), but then letting them sit around. They all need to be wrapped and shipped! I need to wrap and box tonight, ship tomorrow a.m. (I may delegate the Post Office detail to DH). Hopefully we won't need to go priority mail on the boxes.....

I also have to wrap the kids' gifts tonight and tomorrow (thank goodness I kept my head about me and scheduled an errand day before the trip!) -- we're leaving for Disney on Friday and won't be back until after 9:00 p.m. Christmas Eve -- I don't want to do much of anything besides put the gifts out!!

For once I'm nearly done. I thought I was finished but I realized the scrapbooks I had for my mom and MIL won't fit the pages I made for them. :headache: So I have one quick trip to Hobby Lobby for a couple of scrapbooks and I'm done. I have about 10 presents to wrap but I'm way ahead compared to normal.

I just started my shopping last night. Does that count? But I haven't decorated or put up a tree or anything yet...and not sure I'm going to this year. I'm just really not into Christmas this year. :sad2:

No presents wrapped, still have to purchase 75% of them, no cookies baked yet, but the tree is up. My children get out of school on Friday and I still have not decided teacher presents. It will all get done I am not worried and I do the best at the last minute. :lmao: I am sure that there will be plenty of others like me in the stores of the next week. Just try to remember to stay "jolly".

The only person I have shopped for is DD2! LOL.. Oh well, I'll get there someday. Procrastinators, unite!

House is decorated inside and out. All the presents are bought and wrapped and everything that needed to be shipped has been. I spent the first week of Dec. in WDW so made sure I had everything done before I left.

Presents are almost all bought - I bought a GC for my Uncle four weeks ago and a couple of days ago my cousin said they won't go there so I have to replace that but other wise I'm all done. I bought the last real one last night (and it's not even for me to give it's for my DM to give my youngest).

I also have almost all the wrapping done. I've bought a few items that haven't arrived yet so I still have to wrap those.

On the other hand. The tree isn't bought, and the ornaments and decorations aren't out. The only thing that's up is the wreath and that only because my son's Boy Scout troop was selling them door to door and he delivered it to the hook on the front door :rotfl::rotfl:

I also still have to go shopping for all those lovely food items for dinner and desert and make the cookies and candies and pies, etc.
