Hi Lynda, glad to hear from you. I saw the Chadwick's stuff on the "Budget Board" bit didn't get a chance to order anything...don't think I will this time around. The spending hammer is coming down on me from DH . I hate when that happens!!!! Although I have manipulated my way into 2, count 'em 2 WDW Vacation for 2006. We own 4 South African Time Shares (low Maintainence fees) so any vacation we take on trades with them are $4-$500 per week. That's for a 2 bedroom Gold Crown Resort in the WDW Area. So I say, let's get an Annual pass for 2006 and go for Easter and X-Mas 2006 and he's going for it. I know it's early but is anybody extending their cruise vacation?

Snow's-a-melting today. Up to a balmy 40. Our neighbor made a eight foot tall snowman Saturday but he lost his eye today...gotta stuff it back in.

had to help a nother fire dept yesterday with a large apt. fire. mother and 4 yr old son was hurt and 3 yr old girl did not make it. 4 yr old most likly started the fire.
lucky me I stayed back at our station and didnot go on that call.

I'm working on the land portion of my Christmas Magic triple play. I hope that by then I'll have paid for my DVC membership but it's between that and a new car...one that I can transport my electric scooter in.... I'd like to stay at WDW for a week before the cruise but haven't really had the time to put into micro-planning for so far in the future when I've got the cruise/reunion/Disneyland stay in May and a 10-day WDW land/sea in November to massage...

What does your extended cruise wish plan involve?

I love to get a running start on a DCL cruise by starting it off at WDW and then winding it up gently by staying there again after the cruise but, now that I've used up all my timeshare weeks it's gettin' a little expensive...gotta make a choice, one end of the cruise or the other...not both...boo hoo...

Hey I like that idea of camping...I cant remeber the resort name as I just had a theological discussion with my bil and what a f'de up person he is.!!!

Right about now, Denise, I'd probably trade you brother in laws. Or is that brothers in law? I don't care. Mine is trying his darnedest to make my life miserable. Long story, but there will be an end to it soon...and I will never have to see his mug again.

I just realized my problem! (beside the evil BIL)......I missed my nap today!
Anybody read the thread on the main boards about skipping the life boat drill for a napping child? That one got hot. What about skipping it for a napping old lady?????

Morning all. The sleep over went well. Emmy missed Mommy at around 8pm, we called and Em said 'I miss you'. That was it. We got in bed, listened to some classical music and went to sleep. Tuesday am was great. The meltdown occured yesterday afternoon. I am glad her Mom and Dad came home.


Jeanne's cardio doc was pleased and the retinal guy had no miracle cure.

A trip to Disneyland is calling me. New ride being advertised.A Buzz Lightyear ride. Last time we were there Disney was doing alot of construction in preparation for the anniversary, so I really do need to go and check out the completed work.

Sorry all about my spew last night. I was just so irate and had to vent. Clear day today and probably in the 70's again Have to plant the fruit trees today.

I wish i was taking a vacation. So sad! too bad i have to wait until posibbly next summer to take a vacation to any Disney related park. I am going to Bonaire this summer and possibly Beaches Turks & Caicos over christmas. I am trying to convince my mom to let us go there over christmas. My sis wants to stay home, but she is boring.

no good diving. Its poopy. We always have to go away to go diving for that reason. We are 5 minutes from hershey park and the plant. Um about an hour from the crayola factory. thats about it. Okay. i will have to ask my mom though.

Good Morning Fellow X-Mas Cruisers

HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY.

Lynda, I say go for the WDW extended vacation (before and after). I can't remember...while cruising did you buy INTO DVC or just add on more points???? Forget the car. You can just use the scooter for transportation. Justs takes a bit longer to get there . My extended cruise wish plan would involve check-in 12/26/06 check-out 5/1/07 .

Denise and Stacey, Yes BIL's do stink. One of the reasons we ALWAYS try to get away X-Mas is we just can't deal with DH's family, not that mine is much better, but his is impossible. We are planning on skiing this year but DD is giving is a hard time about not being around X-Mas Morn.

I didn't catch the life boat discussion. The main boards do get some, let's say, unreasonable people sometimes. I always love the people that imply they're entitled to some type of discount for bad weather. Those get heated too.

SUe, Glad to hear your sleepover and Jeanne's appts went well. MY DD loves sleepovers, always has.
