Well, back when I was a computer science major, we didn't have zeroes. We had to make do with just ones.

We were able to turn things on but couldn't shut them off.

Robin - it's all over the news here how 4 firefighters died in an arson fire out there in So CA...very, very sad

Have not been watching TV...was it from a wild fire..we have Sana Ana winds right know and they start lots of fires

Its so sad what happened to the firefighters here. I can definitely tell yea, the air is full of that very smoky smell. Also you can see the smoke sitting in the air here, was actually stinging my eyes earlier! Hope they get the fire out quickly.

It was a wild fire that was deliberately set just before the winds kicked up this morning. It has doubled in size over the past hours and is burning over 10 acres.

I remember as a kid watching ashes fall around us during the day, being able to see the flames in the hills at night. Fire season was scary!

And as for memory, I can't quote War and Peace, but I have unintentionally memorized a good part of The Cat in the Hat. I can also remember words
to most songs played on the radio from 1970 to 1990. That's when I started having children and my brain....well....

All the happy arsinists(sp?) seem to show up when they know that the Winds are coming! Well never forget the Fires a few years back that we had. Could not even go out of the house. Michael woke me up and looked at me terrified and said "Mom,something is wrong,something is terriby wrong"
He said to look out the window and the sky was black and my pool was black and yard all black and it looked like the end of the world. We had fires all around us. If you went outside you needed to have a face mask..if you could find one because the stores sold out immediatly.

That was very scarry, a # of friends lost there homes..I hate these dry dry winds!!!! And the fireman hate them too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just looked out the window...the sky is covered with smoke!!!! but cant find any info on TV about it...I am going to the news on the internet...brb
