Hey Jen, check out Google earth. They have a newer picture of the port! One of the ships is in this time!! And it's nice and clear too!!! :woohoo:

I know! I was soooooo excited!!!

okay..so I'm vacuuming right, both upstairs and downstairs... This takes awhile because I have a 2 story 5 bedroom house that needs to be vacuumed at least once every day. So here comes my DH with my 10 yo DS home from football practice...DS comes running in through to the kitchen to get something to drink and than zooms up the steps to the bathroom and than on to his room.
Sooooooooo how many times do I have to ask my DH that before he brings Michael in the house to "TAKE OFF HIS CLEETS"!!!!! :furious:

I must have said this to them both 999,999,999,999.00 times.

So after all that work Billie than had to go and vacuum everywhere Michael walked and Michael had to help and than they both got mad at me for making them do that!

Okay so know I am getting a divorce...thats it :rotfl2:

You would figure after being married to me for 26 years that he would have gotten this stuff by know!! stupped man popcorn::

Robin

o"yes than I MUST add this..after they were done cleaning up Michael still needed to eat so I came back downstairs and Billie is feeding Michael with a tray while he is siting on the couch...WITH HIS "DIRTY" football practice clothes still on....How many times do I have to ask them to TAKE THOSE DIRTY cloths off and shower before sitting on the furniture...I swear this happens all the time...I keep telling them both that I think they have early Alzheimers diesease!!!

sorry to hear about your troubles Robin. I usually remembered to take off my boots before going into the house ( 90% of which is white)

:welcome: Busy Mom :welcome:

Feel free to add your information to the yahoo site or email me and I can add it. Make sure to email Jen. She has the master list.

Busymom, I'm a single mom of a 10 y/o boy...I'm very recently single, actually...
Where was I? Oh yeah, welcome to our group! :Pinkbounc

Jen,

The CafePress image guidelines call for JPEGs (ideal) between 100-300 DPI, Max. res 2000 x 2000, and no larger than 7MB. Can you email me the back design at the closest to ideal res?

Robin, I don't think it's Alzheimer's. My DH is the same way. He comes in muddy or grass covered from working in the yard and won't take his shoes off, EVER. He and DD both leave messes in the kitchen all the time. I come home and find dirty dishes in the sink which haven't been rinsed. the other day I found a pan with a little bit of water and dried ramen noodles sitting on top of the stove with little pieces of ramen all over the stove top :furious: and they don't understand why I get upset :confused3 .

Well, unless anyone has any objections it looks like the last sign is the one we will go with, yes??? I will start creating and then I will need emails to send them to.........if you haven't already pm'd me with your email please do so.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao:

It's always funny when it isn't you! My standard line is that I have four children, and the oldest is the most difficult! (That would be DH.) :scratchin
It's SO hard for me to get the males in my house to do basic things to keep me from being the "pick up machine." So can I tell you how excited I am that the grade school and middle school kids have THREE early release days in a row starting today for parent/teacher conferences. That just allows me more hours to clean up after the little darlings--and we won't even mention the friends :scared1: !!

Busymom41, looks like there's a good chance you'll have plenty of single company by the time of the cruise!

It's always fun to get up in the morning and see what happened on the West Coast while I was asleep!

Sherrena, and you, lucky lady that you are, seem to be the only female in a house of men! Poor thing! Of course, I have myself, DD and DH but DD is a tomboy (just ask her, she'll tell you she is NOT a girly-girl) and she HATES to shop. She'd rather hang out with daddy and do the guy things most of the time so I am often in the same boat. And yeah, I agree about the kid thing. I often say I have two kids with DH being the oldest of the two!

Great minds.....

Kev will be happy that DD is a Tomboy--that's his favorite kind of girl! (He gets a little tired of getting kicked in the shins!--One of his little girl "friends" likes to do that--his brothers call it "4th grade moves.") :upsidedow Those kinda moves wear thin with him!

I hear you. Sometimes she hangs out with boys. It often depends on whether or not she gets along with the particular boy. If they do get along, though, they should be fine.

I think there was something in the air yesterday. The last time I yelled at any of my children was about two years ago (a very significant event). So I got into fights with two of them. The third one just hid in his room. Was there a full moon or something? I swear my kids caught a stoooopid bug.

My New Years resolution every year is to not yell at my kids. That should tell you something about how good I do with it! :guilty: I tell them they practically force me--how else do you break up the wrestling matches and pillow fights? (OR, as they refer to it, FUN!) :teeth:

I'm normally pretty level headed with them and they in return. They're older so we've all been through a lot, 20 and 15. But the 20 year old totally reverted to being an angry teenager yesterday and the 15 year old decided she needed some attention too and did the 'you don't understand me' thing.

It was hard trying to be the parent when I've got my own stuff I'm dealing with. It was just a tough day all around. Hopefully today will be better.

Sounds like you need a  . I know both the angry teenager and the misunderstood one. They both live/visit my home regularly (I have a 16 year old and an almost 14.) Robin's crazy teenager book is going to solve all of my problems with that, so I'll let you know when I get the answers. ;)

Hope today is better for you.

OK, I've stalled long enough, time for :drive: errands. I have had one hour with everyone gone and have 2 1/2 before they start showing back up! Have I mentioned they have early release? :bitelip: :)

Oh, and good morning West Coast people! :coffee:
