ooh yay, they just posted flu shots for the 24th! So I will get my flu shot before Halloween. It is one of the benefits they offer here - free flu shots for employees. I got my first one in years last year and will do so again this year since we are going on the cruise. As a diabetic I don't want to take the risk.

By the way, Dee, my sugar was fine, just a migraine! But thanks for checking!

Hey Sandra, I was looking at Jen's sight last night (which, BTW looks awesome, Jen) and noticed you have the cabin we were in for the 2004 X-Mas Cruise. This time around we booked the same cabin we were in for the 2002 cruise.

We have been talking about it, and I THINK will let Kev have sign out privileges with certain parameters. He would always have to be with someone specific (brothers, named friend,) and be going somewhere pre-arranged and approved by us.

I am sitting her at my computer, logged into my computer at work, logged onto a client site doing a software load. Yippee. Rather be watching CSI . But I am earning comp time that I will use in December for the day we leave for the cruise, so what the heck.

I have made several door signs and a bunch of little magnets, some using the Home Depot Mickey paint chips. Lots of fun! going to have some pirate signs (all from the movies, of course!), some Tink, not sure what else as I haven't done more than that right now. Gotta get working on that, I think!

Found a picture to make my own iron-on for a Jack Sparrow shirt, now to find a black t-shirt in the right size and style. Of course, not that it is October no one is selling women's short sleeve plain black t-shirts! Figures, doesn't it? I have a few more stores to check. Otherwise I will get online and order one from Hanes. I want a women's slightly fitted one rather than a standard man's style shirt.

I have a question...
Do any of you let there children check in and out?

We've never done so previously, because they were too young on our last cruise. But we will be giving DS10 permission this time. Of course, we've also given DS13 permission to get his brother out of the clubs so we can send him to fetch his brother to save us time. The boys have had to come home alone after school some times when one of us is running late due to Chicago traffic ( ) and couldn't meet the bus and they've proven themselves trustworthy. We'll see if they keep it up on the cruise. If not, you can always revoke the privileges.

Would you guys stop being silly! Dee and I are doing these as our Christmas gifts to each of the DIS cruisers! I'm having a blast putting these things together.

The only thing I really need is for the people who haven't been on in a while to confirm that they are going and/or to tell me what character they prefer. We haven't heard from FantasiaSam, RealtorLady or booksw in quite a while. They gave me their character preferences but haven't confirmed that they are going for sure. And then there are these folks who are on various lists but have never answered my PMs asking about which character they'd like:

Not making as in from scratch. Dee and I bought the stockings with the characters and I have been putting people's DIS names on the tops of each stocking. Not a lot of work, just a little creativity and fabric paint!
