I was also on the Panama Canal cruise to California...Awsome cruise...You weren't the one who bought the piece of the Canal for $5,000 were you...lol...Did you go to any of the Art Auctions?

No Robin i was not the one who bought the piece of canal. But, I was at the auction when it was sold. I really saw a lot of Don "Ducky" Williams art that I wanted but with all the DIsney Lovers on the ship the prices went more than I wanted to go even though I did bid on a few!

Don "Ducky" Williams was on the last 10 day...they gave out 1 free piece of art to every stateroom...concierge got another one as well

Just got home from football practice. Oh boy I can relate to being busy. Horses, goats, football, soccer, homework, Eagles, halloween parties, birthday parties, school auction, PTA, and the list goes on. I am going to need this vacation.

I went to all the auctions and did get the "Alice in Wonderland"Don Ducky Williams art that he was auctioning off. Friends of ours bought over $!00,000
in Art...we walked away spending $11,000. I am hoping to stay away from the Auction this time...lol...but may be hard. I love Art!!!!Our friends are also coming on the cruise but think they will stay away from the Art and leave some for others. This way they may auction off for less.

The horse is doing ok. The wound is starting to heal. His canon bone area is really healing up quite nicely. It is just his knee area that is taking its time. Roughly the size of a hand still open but new skin is starting to close in from the sides. It is just going to be a very long process. I think he is addicted to Bute. Just kidding. He is getting to be quite a pro at taking it.

you should use some hydrotherapy...they make this small massaging tubes that go around the legs and us water to massage bloodflow

As we get closer I am getting more and more of the stockings done! I think those will be fun. It will definitely make it easier to find the members of our group! Still need room numbers for a few, especially those who had GTY rooms booked and those who were in groups with multiple rooms (Jen, do you know which of the two rooms you have listed you will be in?)

Anyone else have any thoughts on the comments I posted yesterday on t-shirts?? Jen, I don't know if this will help you or not, but they have this page on preparing images, etc: http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/help/images.aspx

Anyway, cafepress would be one way to go but would likely be white only. If someone else has easy access to another way to get shirts printed and wanted to transport them or sent them out pre-cruise, definitely let us know as this is something we should get moving on soon!

I just got Samantha signed up for the boards so she can post on the kid's thread. She thinks that will be neat but she's not sure about that fact that there didn't seem to be any other girls so far . She chose the name blackfire ???? She wanted starfire but someone else had it already. What is amusing about that is that all through college I had a D&D character named Starfire and she didn't even know about that!

I'll get Kev, my almost ten year old out on the boards, hopefully tonight but maybe not until tomorrow. He'll have a bit of homework, but as long as he finishes before his older brothers get home we'll have time. Once they get home we're off and running for most of the evening!

It's supposed to be in the upper 80s in Atlanta today--I'm having a hard time thinking Christmas!

no i don't know which one. I will be assigned to a different room than i sleep in...Most likely i will be in 6570..but don't hold me to that....lol...

No, you can have a design on both sides, but it cannot contain any copy-righted image (Mickey, for example). You can also have tees in other colors (I have a store there -- I've done it for the Feb. cruise I went on).

You'll hve to find someone like the woman GarRy knows, who will do copy-righted images. The places around me won't do Mickey / DCL logo either, and your design is too gorgeous to mess with!

Of corse, if you know someone at Disney who can give permission, you can always get written permission toi use these images, and then any printer will do it...

Looks great!!! When would we were them...can we get them sent to us before the crusie so we can wear them on to the ship....I will pay to have them sent here...how do you usually work it! inquiring minds want to know?
