Recently back from our 4 day Wonder cruise w/a stop in Freeport. This was our first ever cruise (and it won't be our last!) We thoroughly enjoyed the ship and would advise anyone that even if you don't plan on any excursions, there is PLENTY to do onboard. In fact, the kids (DD 10 and DS 7) wanted to return to the ship after going ashore. The food and servers were great-no complaints. We did not try Palio nor did the kids use the clubs. Hey, we like to vacation as a family and though the kids circled some activities that they wanted to try..it just never happened and they weren't upset (or even cared.) Everyone is right about Nassau. We did go to Atlantis and used the pools and saw the Dig. But, once is enough and its crossed off our list. $$ Can't believe people have to pay to see the Dig! In Freeport, we were only in town for about 2 hours-dd didn't feel well. Just did souvenir shopping. Castaway Cay was nice but it was overcast (low 70s) and the ocean was COLD. At least we had time to relax on the beach. Character interaction was everywhere. We were pleased with stateroom #5520 and our hostess was top notch. The only cost for us on the ship was drinks, bingo, souvenirs, and tips..under $400 for our family of 4. My husband wasn't thrilled with the idea of cruising but now wants to book a 7-day.
