Thanks! The kids really make it look great. I want to get the white background done this time for a family picture. We have the tiki mickey outfits for one choice & then I am interested in how a formal picture would look. We haven't had a family picture done in 5 years. It is time!

Maybe I'll just borrow my parents time, they're probably getting a plan for my teenage sister.

On the last cruise we went on the interntet just long enough to check our email from back home. Our son was awaiting acceptance into his medical school program, and we were anxious to find out. Other than that, you won't find me near a computer either.

I thought I read somewhere that you can now also get WIFI, so that if you take your laptop, that might be a better alternative than that internet cafe. At least you wouldn't be stuck at the same place all the time. Every time we walked by, all the people there seemed to have that strange blue computer tan . . . and it was always the same people, night after night, after night. If I ever get that addicted to the web - when on a cruise ship, someone should put me out of my misery!

John I agree, if I become that addicted to the web someone should just turf me overboard My Dad is pretty addicted to the internet, but my teenage sister might use the web as a means to seperate herself from the family trip, I hope she has a good time.

Yes, you can get wifi but it is more expensive. I am probably considered adicted to the web since I communicate with so many friends online & track deals & now am a little more involved in things here. Once we leave home for FL, that is put to the side.

I am going to be dancing the night away - I hope....I love to dance....even went to a perfoming arts high school for dance....and it was my first major in college!!! (of course 52 others followed!!)

Now, in real life...I dance around the living room with Samantha, but other than that....nothing! Not that we could even go but we have no dance halls here in town~~~~!!!!!

I got the same message that Deidre did about my pic being too big. I spent at least an hour yesterday trying to resize it and even tried a couple of different ones before I gave up. I make it the right size on my photo editor, but then when I upload it to snapfish it seems to grow back to the original size.

Deidre... I am pretty sure that I have seen sunscreen year round at walmart. It is just not a very big display. Oh wait a minute I remember seeing some recently at Target in the Health and Beauty section. We definately need it year round here if you do any skiing especially.

I don't plan on using the internet at all. So it will be up to someone else to do the Live from thread or they will just have to wait until we get home for a trip report.

Do they have Salsa lessons onboard? That would be fun. DH and I took dancing lessons before our wedding. I don't really remember much though. I am with Vanessa.... my dancing consists of dancing in the kitchen while I am cleaning.

Good evening, all! We will not be on the internet on the ship either. I am addicted at home, but there is way to much to do on the cruise to sit at a screen.

Last Dec we took our SkipBo cards with us and spent some sea afternoons at Cove Cafe playing cards, enjoying a cigar and watching the sea go by. That was very relaxing. I will need to remember to put the cards in again.

You all have been busy chatting away! The rate we are going we'll hit 3000 before cruise time.
We are bringing our lap top but not to hook up to the internet. I plan on downloading my pictures & making a CD to share with Tinkerbellmom.
I'll put acouple of games on it for DD. We may bring some movies to watch on it.

I have a question about cell phones? Can they be used on the ship? I have a family plan with cingular & they do have towers on the islands. I know I can use them on the Islands but I was wondering if I would be abe to call DD or DH while on the ship?

So now I am doing the doc dance

What a way to start my weekend!!!

Finally got to find out our stateroom number too... we were sailing cat 5 GTY, so we will be in stateroom 7044!

WOOHOOO all seems very real now!!

I just got home and it's 11:15pm PST. I worked again until about 8pm and then hungout with some friends to watch LOST. 1800 come and gone. That was a quick one.

Congrats on getting your docs...it has begun...yipee.

John, I hope you feel better soon. I always seem to get sick from exhaustion right before every vacation. I will be working all the way up until about 5 hours before I leave for the trip. Hopefully, I will fall right asleep on the plane since it's a red eye.

I've toyed with the idea of doing the internet while on board, but you guys have convinced me otherwise. I just don't think I will have the time. It would just be a waste of money for me to get the unlimited pkg......

I know that you folks that have harsher winters get tired of it all, but I am tired of 85 degree weather in November. It doesn't feel like fall. It's hard to even begin to think of Christmas when I have the air conditioner on in my car.

In reference to the posts on sunscreen and tanning ability, I usually tan well. However, I haven't really been out in the sun since my WDW/DCL trip in Sept 2003. So I am pretty pasty right now. I would try and get some sun since it's warm, but I am too busy working.......
