I am thinking the booking for this cruise was higher because for the past few years they offered Fl resident discounts and there were none on this yet they opened up some for a New Year's sailing, which is pretty rare I think!

I went to DCL.com and entered my info to retrieve my res and there it was! Cabin assignment. My stateroom is 6107. Is that an upgrade

I also went to downtown Los Angeles' fashion district yesterday and was able to buy DD a formal light blue dress (Lisa's DD-Cinderella photo inspired). It is absolutely beautiful! My DD didn't want to take it off.

when we went last year, it was around 84 degrees in Orlando. This was the Saturday right after Thanksgiving.

I always wear shorts. If it is sunny, shorts. If it's rainy, shorts. The only things that may change are what type of shoes I am wearing. Flip flops usually, but if it's raining it will be shoes...

I bet we will hit 2000. It seems like the last week or so we have been more active than usual.

I will wait and see as far as clothes to board. Since we are coming from CO I will have some jeans and long sleeved shirts probably from our trip out.

I got DS's Tux in the mail from EBAY yesterday. He is so cute in it. I only need to take in the pants and it will be perfect. He has a hard time calling it by its correct name. Yesterday he called it his "tusquito" and this morning he called it his "taquito". We are going to get DH measured for his today and I will take Rachel's dress and Jacob's tux to get altered this afternoon.

I can't wait!

i just read that thread about how Bo's Mom was the lucky (or not) passenger on the recent Eastern Cruise that was search right before they got into St. Thomas. Scary!

We usually wear something tropical to board. Love looking like tourists in the embarkation photo! With sandals. We will stow our jeans that we wore on the plane and not take them out until we have to get back on the plane.

I read about the room search too. It just seems strange that with all the time I have spent on these boards for over 2 years that I have never heard of this before. I thought we DISers were up to speed on everything.
