Well, we finished lugging all the Hallowe'en stuff downstairs and started pulling up the Christmas village stuff, we bought a few more pieces last night for our village, now DH has to build a little wooden city so we can put the whole village out. I can't wait to start decorating for Christmas.

We leave in 3 weeks and 1 day!! AAHHHH!!

LOL! Angie, you got one! Maybe the mail is just slower here in NC or they don't think that we want them earlier than 10 days out. Last year was the excuse that the printer was down. Yeah right! You can't have a printer down for 4 months & give that same excuse.

We also booked thru DU for next year's cruise & got in on the group rate! That is the only reason I was able to convince DH to rebook for 2006. Tammy & Karen just helped us transfer to 7007 from 2647 too! That was a trick this weekend. I had to book the room online since no offices were open to do it. They then took the resie info & cancelled the second one & transferred that room to the first one. WHEW! Now we are all set!

Small things amuse me right now. I bought a shirt that fits, it says "I'm out of my mind, please leave a message. Hopefully my mind returns after the trip

I got a new shirt for work too, it says "Never underestimate the power of Stupid people in large groups" I wonder how many of the criminals will moan about that one I love tormenting them and they know to expect it now from me

I was in a meeting today about the Department of Corrections Boot Camp program here in Colorado and some of the "smart people" were actually very stupid, going over things already covered and one woman came up with something so bizarre I think most of us had our jaws drop by her comment. Oh well, she was a perfect "stupid" example

Well guys, I was out of commission for a couple of days due to the election, late results, gathering signs, and so forth. One hurdle passed, I won re-election to the school board, and was the top vote getter of the four candidates. Three were elected, and one of our incumbents that it would take me pages of posts to explain deservedly got voted out of office.

Glad to see someone nabbed #1500 from Jordan!

Well this weekend will be a busy one for me. We will be getting the xmas lights on the house. I want to shampoo the carpet. I will be baby sitting my grandson. Bryce is 18 mos old now is so sweet. The other day I dropped my cane & before I could pick it up there was Bryce p/u for me. He does things like that for me. He is also starting to talk. His favorite charecter is Tigger.

Today we started baking xmas cookies. Yummm....my fav time of the year.

Jordan I hope your back gets better. Those muscle relaxers sure is a great drug. It will keep you relaxed all over.

I finished making my door magnets. Now I'm read to cruise. Diana

Congrats, John! Our best friend was just elected to the local school board this year. Our DGS now thinks he has an "in" because he and his buddies passed out fliers.

Thanks for the concerns about my back. It's an ongoing issue. I don't think I'll be taking any more pain meds. It totally zoned me out. Sure I didn't feel my back pain...but I didn't feel anything.

Congrats to John....I owe you a beer.

I was out in the garage last night and came across a PIRATE PINATA....so DH was grilling out and I ran outside all excitied trying to incorporate a way we could use this thing on pirate night. He looked at me like I was nuts!

I think I will try to talk dh into helping me put up the lights on the house this weekend. I am taking most of Saturday and all of Sunday off so we would be home together to put up the decorations. We won't be putting out the oputdoor stuff though until we get back and we'll start the lights on timers for Dec, while we are gone.

I am so excited about the trip I am afraid I am going to burn out before we even get there, I need to start packing some things this week so I don't run like a goof at departure time.

I need to get all my work done for this month done early enough that I can type up all of my reports before we leave. AAHHH!! Oh well, I'll be with the mouse so nothing will bother me for awhile I'll be able to leave the company phone behind, it will be the second time I won't have that phone attached to me in almost a year

Today is DD 10th b'day. In one month we will be on the Magic!!!!!!!

I just got done looking at the pictures of the Magic 10/29 cruise. I want to go NOW!!!! Is it time yet? I don't think that I can wait much longer.

We seem to be busy all the way up to cruise time now. THis weekend is DD "family" b'day party on SUnday and Saturday I have a delagate meeting for Girl Scouts. Next weekend our troop will be busy on Saturday at a food bank helping make Thankgiving boxes. Then the next weekend is THanksgiving (still don't know what our plans are.... it is kind of weird to not know yet). After that is the weekend before we leave. I have to work that weekend and both DH and my office Christmas parties are that weekend.

Whew...... I am ready for a cruise now!!!! Did I mention that I CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!! I am so excited to meet everyone in person finally!!!!!!!
