This will be our 8th cruise and first time out of Galveston. Does it work just like Port Canaveral? Any helpful info we may need?

The terminal they use is shared by other cruise lines, so not Disney specific. As a result you’ll see a little Disney touches but it’s not themed the same way port Canaveral is.

Otherwise, the process for embarkation is very similar. You’ll check in, have a little bit of weight time before you board. There is no model of the ship to look at, but there will be character greetings.
