We are making home made chicken pot pie (the right way - the PA Dutch Way) for our halloween party!!!! I even make the noodles from scratch!!!!

I am beat today. I went to the gym earlier than usual 10:30am hoping to beat the lunch crowd and everyone else had the same idea. I thought I was going to have to arm wrestle someone for a treadmill.

almost quitting time. Yippee!! We just spent an hour in a year end meeting and it amazes me how people haven't reconciled ledger accounts since say July - that is your job? And my boss is just like ok, book an estimate etc....I mean. Shoot, if I am not going to get in to trouble for not doing it why am I wasting time working during the month?

Thirsty Thursday is going to start early tonight.

Just an update on my father-in-law (You may remember he had a stroke a couple of weeks ago).

He is improving...was moved to a regular hospital room a couple of days ago, then moved to a rehab hospital yesterday.

They had him up and walking and doing other physical tests. He is talking...some say he does not aways make since, but he is not wearing his hearing aids. DW and I think he just is not hearing well, and is responding to what he thinks people are saying.

We now feel pretty good about his prognosis.

Dody -- I just started watching it in "real time" this season. My sister got me hooked with her DVDs of the first two seasons.

I try to avoid 4T because sometimes they leave room for diapers making them bigger all around. Wait until you get into the older girls clothes, then it is the opposite! yes I look at those narrow pant legs and I think no way is Jaea going into these. She is also short for her age and needs the wider waste but very short legs. I think she will be wearing skirts and dresses but she just started on a jean thing now.

I think I will stop buying ahead now because I just can't predict and can't account for her developing taste.
