Even though the "make your own" kits are from the official peep people, they do not taste the same. Also, white and yellow peeps are always safe. Some of the other colors (including my beloved Carolina blue) are just nasty.

It would be cool to have Carolina footprint peeps. Maybe when we win the national championship in March they will make some.

LOVED 'em as a kid. Recently tried them again and they were, sadly, not as tasty as I remembered. Must have changed the formula.

And, for the record, I enjoy the pumpkins that taste like candy corn, but I don't care for the brown/orange/white style of candy corn.

I like those pumpkin candies. They have the same texture of candy corn but they taste different.

I won't eat the strawberry (Valentine) peeps. I can't eat anything that has artificial strawberry flavor. It's just nasty.
