Did you at least tell someone at home where to look in case you didn't make it home? After all, this whole thread could be run by one person (me) just trying to lure you to Kneobel's and onto a broken roller coaster!
My mom did call that day too. Seems I forgot to tell her again. But she could have just called DH this time if she needed to. I did tell her the next day about it and that we met people from our upcoming cruise. She was fine with it.
She also asked if DH was still going or if she would be joining us instead.

It's really neat though. They have lots of stuffed animals; deer heads, a big moose head, etc, and even a few two-headed calves. The girls got kid's Shirley Temples that came with pinwheels. Their meals also came with a 50 cent bag that they could fill with penny candy. Luckily the kids are clueless to most as my filet was the worst I ever had, the service was pretty lousy, and the bill was
!! DH wasn't able to come, so it was just me and the girls again. We did get a picture taken so that was nice. When we got there I discretely told the waitress about Amanda's birthday. Throughtout dinner she kept bugging me to tell her as she wanted a cake. I kept acting as if I forgot or that I didn't want to bother her. She was squirming in her seat when the bill was brought!! Finally she had given up, with a little pouting, and they brought the cake and a balloon singin Happy Birthday. The look on her face was priceless!
