did you all see that the family who won the MK all to themselves (YOAMD kickoff) was a DIS family??!! How exciting is that?

Yes, and they are from Ohio - about 30-40 miles away. There was a big writeup in the local paper about it.

Did not know they were DIS'ers though . . .

You are so bad! I can't believe you are crossing state lines to meet crazy internet people without telling your husband. Did you at least tell someone at home where to look in case you didn't make it home? After all, this whole thread could be run by one person (me) just trying to lure you to Kneobel's and onto a broken roller coaster!

DH knew where I was, just not that there would be people there to meet! My mom did call that day too. Seems I forgot to tell her again. But she could have just called DH this time if she needed to. I did tell her the next day about it and that we met people from our upcoming cruise. She was fine with it. She also asked if DH was still going or if she would be joining us instead.

We have adobe...that's not the problem.... When i go to open it it asks if i want to save some kind of Active X file to my computer....(instead of just opening)

Maybe i'll try to open it at work tomorrow and see what i get...

Okay I know we are getting close ...2 months and some of you have elected to dress as some of the people from POTC ....and I know some of you should do it cause there are plenty of characters left but when I saw this picture of Brack (edited cause I thought you were DrHug...sorry) I thought this would be perfect ...

Amanda had a nice time at her birthday dinner yesterday. I hadn't been to this restaurant in a long time and forgot how expensive they are! It's really neat though. They have lots of stuffed animals; deer heads, a big moose head, etc, and even a few two-headed calves. The girls got kid's Shirley Temples that came with pinwheels. Their meals also came with a 50 cent bag that they could fill with penny candy. Luckily the kids are clueless to most as my filet was the worst I ever had, the service was pretty lousy, and the bill was !! DH wasn't able to come, so it was just me and the girls again. We did get a picture taken so that was nice. When we got there I discretely told the waitress about Amanda's birthday. Throughtout dinner she kept bugging me to tell her as she wanted a cake. I kept acting as if I forgot or that I didn't want to bother her. She was squirming in her seat when the bill was brought!! Finally she had given up, with a little pouting, and they brought the cake and a balloon singin Happy Birthday. The look on her face was priceless!

We have adobe...that's not the problem.... When i go to open it it asks if i want to save some kind of Active X file to my computer....(instead of just opening)

Maybe i'll try to open it at work tomorrow and see what i get...

Active X is a windows thing, it allows links and such live things to be loaded, i think. It use to come up everytime I wanted to play a game on pogo or popcap, never did anything bad to my computer. There are links to my e-mail and the group thread in the pdf, so say yes.

Are most men squeemish about getting a message?? I mentioned to DH last night that i booked us a couples massage on the cruise. He gave me this weird look and said he's not sure that's a good idea. Something about it would be wrong for him to let a woman other than his wife touch him like that and more wrong to let a man??? I told him I could care less if a woman gave him a massage. Is this a common thought from a man?

John was at first but not anymore. We did the couples massage on the ship and he decided he liked them! And through the rehab at the hospital I can get an hour for $35-40 - so he likes them better now!!
Last year prior to the cruise he got one at the GF spa before we left because his back was hurting.

I can't believe it is 10/9 already! Where does the time go and just what the heck am I doing to not notice?

It was cool this morning, I almost had to go back in the house and get the girls a sweater. I wonder how long this type of weather will last, makes me not want to work all the more!
