John - that's awesome. My best friend went to U of Miami - graduated - then went to Europe 0 backpacking without her poor BF, then came home to go to med school in NY and is now a dermatologist! I am so proud of her!! I have almost no girl friends IRl and we have been friends since 7th grade!

I am playing hubby who has Carson Palmer who is playing Brady.
I have looked at all the matchups and everyone is predicting Brady to have one or less passing TD's....

any thoughts?

Your Buckeyes are looking very, very good this year, John1. Hope we get to play them! We will have to do much better than today though to make #2 spot and get a shot at it. Not doing bad though for as many freshmen as we have. I look forward to 2 years from now.

Lots of people that Amy knows have done this. Amy keeps saying she wants to do it, but it scares me. I worry about any kind of surgery, and read about some people having serious complications.

I am glad it worked out well for you.

i was very scared as was my dh. i thought about it for years but what really helped me make up my mind was my brother, who had his the year before me and did great. I cant say it has been an easy road but it has been worth it.

I, of course, love Carson Palmer. But don't follow the pros too much. We watch all the teams cheering for the guys we watched thru college.

I think when they first started doing these some years ago there were quite a few complications. They do them so often now though that, although it is still a difficult surgery, the outcomes are much better.

and always make sure you go to a place that specializes in the surgery. some docs only do a few a year and some do a few a day. my doc does about 10 a week. which i was very comfortable with.
