V was in a cat3 last cruise - that's the one with the picture of a bunch of us in there for the wine and cheese. Since I do not know what your others were like - hard to compare - but I found it very LARGE.

The other thing is - maybe you will spend more time in yours, but we do not spend too much time in our room anyway. I used to get a cat4 - now we regularly book 8's, and next cruise it is a 10 (although it is a SPH 10).

I'm not claustrophobic in an 8 - but then again, I am the guy who fell blissfully asleep in the MRI tube at the hospital.

I am laughing because they had to give DH a sedative. How many steps can you walk across he floor without being able to touch a wall?
also, for some reason if it gets really hot it is worse. How is the temperature control?

Well, I need to go to sleep. I wont need to take anything to help if I go upstairs right now. I almost drifted off earlier when I took DD upstairs & waited for her to go to sleep. See you in the morning!

She said "when will I have time to go in?" I said, "well, how about NOW?" She laughed and said, oh, ok. So I am sure she is going in tonight. I will call my mom in a few just to be sure. I think they were actually hoping DrHug would be here. If he tells them go in they jump and do it right away!

Did she outline it with a makeup pencil? If she does that and it grows beyond it's borders it is a problem bite.

Called my mom, she said sis was going home to have DH take a look at it then decide what to do. Called their house and got ans. machine. That should mean they are going up to urgent care.

It's been growing since Sunday and she has been taking benadryl. She needs to be seen, hopefully she won't be stubborn about it. I left a message for her to call me.

Can someone remind me when we have to cancel excursions if we don't want them. i.e. if we decided not to do anything on coz, when do I have to cancel the catameran?

DD got bit by a spider in July right on the, uh, er....crotch. She had to go in and have it lanced and packed and take two rounds of antibiotics. She could not sit or walk very well for a couple of weeks. They told her that there has been a "rash" of spider bites up and down the west coast that are getting infections that are very difficult to kill off. That's why I really encouraged her to go in now.

I'm not sure. I would think you would have until very near sailing to cancel those. Spa is 24 hours still, I think. We've only canceled on excursion and that was for medical reason when I had that blasted kidney stone. We were supposed to do St John Island Tour the next day. DrHug had no problem canceling it.

oh my I forgot to ask one more question. DD is seriously allergic or has a horrible reaction to the fake smoke, like in the nutcracker during the snow queen part. She gets a very intense headache and then starts screaming (or at least she did the first 2 times we had this). Do they use it in any of the shows? As long as we sit pretty far back, she is ok, but it would be nice to know in advance...

We have seen all of those shows multiple times and I cannot answer that question! I don't recall any smoke, but can swear there is not any. The theater is large though and you still have great seats if you sit back a ways.

usually it's 24 hours...but with conceirge service most all is forgiven last minute. We cancelled last minute last year and it was "no problem" = no charge.


as far as the room....yours being a different layout should feel even larger...and quite honestly....we were not in it all that much!

DH has been taking ambien for 7 years now every night. I called today to get a different prescription. It's freaking me out that this bothers no one.... Then, I forgot to go to the pharmacy. ARGGGG
