Becka - your DHs name is the same as my DBrother! Just another strange coincidence! When I talk about you to my DH I say, "you know the family who is us but one year older."

Hey John and PJ. Y'all have a recalled apple battery?

For everyone else, I am watching "A Time To Kill" Better book, but very interesting topic...

Kim

I told Amy I have to pry the laptop out of her hands this weekend to find out. At least ours have not blown up like the Dells . . .

It is possible we have one on the 12" powerbook. That is also the laptop with the spare battery.

I've got to tell you though (and I have heard this a lot about the MacBooks) I swear I could cook dinner on the bottom of this Macbook after it is good and heated up - like now. I prop one edge of it (by the screen) on a pillow, and one edge of it on my DIS geek challenged stomach to allow airflow over the bottom while I am in the recliner. This baby gets HOT, but it is not one of the recalls.

Bedtime.

Night all.

Hope I don't have nightmares about getting myself tatooed with the story of my life on every Tuesday night for months . . . Gee, what would I have back there . . . Something definitive . . .do they do Hostess Twinkees on Miami Ink?

DH's brand new snazzy dell had the battery recall and I totally agree on the heat! Wow, my legs start getting red about this time of night.

Oh Geez..there are steaks in the freezer ..why don't you make me dinner while you post?? Men... never heard of multi-tasking!!

You guys are too funny. Time to get some sleep so that I can wake up to the alarm and get the kids to school in time. Now I am wishing that school wasn't starting. :lmao:

First day of all day school today. DD was so scared she had me make her lunch and bought lunch too, Then she only at 2 bites of pineapple and threw everything else away because her stomach hurt... OY! She thinks she can eat school lunch tommorow, but wants me to make it just in case and be sure to send pineapple...
How is DD doing? We are in the acting out phase. All of the anxiety that school is starting in a couple of weeks leading up to the night before and all of the stressors. Me being away now didn't help at all. I got in a bit earlier and was able to pick DD up from camp and she acted like a cat. You know the expression - you've never been ignored until you;ve been ignored by a cat. Yeah - that would be the reaction to my return. I shrugged it off - good she is independent and confident that is what I want her to be (secretly inside thinking gee, she didn't miss me at all?! ). Fast forward to 2 hours later when she is wailing about missing me SO MUCH. Overtired and cranky. Thank heavens it was a short trip because I did miss them both.

Good Luck tomorrow! Now that DD is going into 1st grade I need to try not to cry this time. I am not the crying type and preschool and kindergarten I kept it together enough to get back to our car and lose it. DH gave me this stunned look the first time it happened and then proceeded to laugh rubbing my back as I boohooed ( ) Now he expects it even when I say "I don't get it. I don't feel like I'm going to cry" It's just seeing them line up and walk into the classroom alone. Sigh...

Todd...WOW.

My first thought was WOW! My second thought ..OUCH but what committment and your friend did it free hand?! and my third thought was - Hey, he dives, that looks like a diving suit.

Darn it guys! I'm finally back home and very tired and you've got me checking out BB now! I need to know what's gone on now.
